Mini Gift bag make over plus some extras

Today i'd like to share a little revamped gift bag made for a swap challenge along with some other little makes all created using Rubber Dance Stamps Designed by Katy Leitch.

Here in words and pictures is my revamped mini gift bag plus..

Using Dylusions paints on a Gelli plate I printed both sides of the paper bag,
stamped randomly onto the print adding dabs and scrapes of gesso.

Paint in primary colours was dripped down the bag and the palette, paint brushes
and wording stamped, coloured and cut. All from the Artist palette stamp set.

I made a tag using one of the paint tube stamps and decorated extra large paperclips by attaching the paint brush images, coloured in using neocolor pastels
and Kuretake wink of stella clear, gold and silver brush pens.

Clipped onto the paper bag the paint brush paper clips really do look like
they are full size with their coordinating paint dips and drips.

My Mini altered Gift Bag is complete and ready to send to it's new home.

I also made some ATC's for another swap..

and a Birthday Card!
All having liquid pearls added for the dipped paint effect on the brushes.

I do love this stamp set, great designs and so handy for creating something Arty.

I'm linking this up with the all new Rubber Dance Stamps Forever Stamping Challenge
a continuous challenge where you can showcase your Rubber Dance makes.

Thank you for stopping by today,

Fresco style album page

Only one post from me this week as it's been a busy one & I've been blessed with the dreaded Lurgy so full of coughs, sneezes and wheezes so apologies in advance for any typo's or incorrect links as it's quite difficult to type and sneeze at the same time.
Thought I'd share my latest  Journal cover using PaperArtsy and Rubber Dance Stamps.

The style I was aiming for was Flaking Fresco, like ancient mural plaster painting.
By applying Coral Rose and English Rose acrylic randomly over a coat of white gesso this is dried with a heat tool until tacky dry. A coating of Calypso Teal covers it all and dried using a heat tool again. When dry I rubbed over areas of the journal board with a wet wipe exposing the colours underneath. .. which does resemble flaking Fresco.!

For the front focal piece I decorated a Tando substrate in the same way as the chip board album page using Coral Rose, Tangerine Dream and Calypso Teal. I stamped a PaperArtsy Zinski image and Rubber Dance texture stamps around the main image.

Doodling with Posca Pens and embellishments finish off the substrate when glued to the front page. I'm not sure if this is finished yet I may add a few words or a title, but for now I'm putting my pens and paint down. I'm hoping to fill this with lots more Fresco style pages.

I'd like to enter this page into the Orange, Red and Rose Rubber Dance Colour Challenge

Wishing you all a Happy, Healthy lurgy free weekend..

Hugs Tracey xx

Rubber Dance Stamps Guest Design piece

I was so honoured to be chosen as the Winner of Rubber Dance Stamps January Colour Challenge and received as my prize a delightful selection of Rubber Dance Stamps. Included from the Textured Flowers stamp set was two flowers and a leaf which seemed perfect to use for my Guest Design piece.

Here is my Guest Design Piece for Rubber Dance Stamps March Colour Challenge
using Magenta, Yellow and Turquoise within my Design.

For my base I used a large MDF Uprights Tag from That's Crafty
DecoArt Media Textured Sand Paste helped create both grass and clouds.
When dry a coating of white Gesso was applied all over and colours were built up accordingly to create the scene.

Different shades of green with a hint of grey help to build up the depth within the grass.

Over texture I always find it easier to paint with my fingers
especially when I'm looking to highlight what is already apparent.

Dylusions Calypso Teal and Cherry Pie have helped me to create my
Turquoise and Magenta Sky amidst the rolling clouds.

The Stamped Textured Flowers have been painted using a mixture of Lemon Zest, Pure Sunshine, Tangerine Dream, Bubblegum, Cherry Pie and Pomegranate Seed
Dylusions Paints by Dyan Reaveley.

The flowers have been shaped, layered and glossy accents added to
magnify the central script

and my Guest Design piece is finished.

Thank you for taking time to take a peak, I look forward to joining in the creativity with Rubber Dance Stamp Challenges again very soon.
