Spring change

 Hello creative friends

another month comes to end so let me share
a couple of pages from my March Junk Journal

Dina Wakley stamps painted on an ink wash background..

and painted March blooms, documenting bulbs recently planted.
I hope they'll survive the frosts as the temperature is set to plummet.

Wishing you all safe and well
I'll catch up with you all in April x

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ Anything Goes #164

 Hello Creative Friends

come and share your art and creativity with us
HERE our theme is *Anything Goes*

Today I share a page from my March Junk Journal
a recognition of Mothers Day celebrated in the UK in March.

Stamped flowers using the Dinky Sugar Skull Set I stamped and fussy cut
a few extra's. Onto an old book page I traced around the Tea Cup from the
Clockwork Substrate cut out and layered up along with those extra flowers.
Finished off with the word MOM from the Fun outline set it completes
my watercolour Tea cup in full bloom for Mom.

Dedicated to all that take on that Mothering Role..
it's a very precious thing...

Please share your *Anything Goes* creations  HERE

Paint Party Friday *After Party*

Hello creative friends

Today I share my last Painting for *Paint Party Friday*
using acrylics recently sent to me from my dear friend Anne,
the colours inspired me to finish this piece pencilled long ago.

I give you Vincent Van Gogh's *Sunflowers* in my own vision.

I do not think there is anyone on this earth that doesn't recognise
the Power, Strength and Love the sunflower symbolises right now..

Thanks to Kristin and EVA for all those fabulous
Paint Party Fridays.. We will miss you very very much..

Stay safe and ever creative

Happy 11th Year Paint Party Friday..

a safe blog space on Fridays by the hostess Kristin and EVA
for us to share creativity I'm sad this now comes to an end..

Huge gratitude to Valerie @ Bastelmania

Fridays so here's a random selection of new and old in full scale.

First a new page for Valeries theme *Spring* as she
hosts this March @ Art Journal Journey..

...and some pieces shared previously @ PPF
I'm wearing the paint party hat..

as my take on Mona wears it in 2021..

and a younger me the year before that.

This journal page ALWAYS makes me want to paint..

Just Junk Journaling...

 Hello creative friends,

Already a week passes into March as I continue recycling packaging and
using scraps to make pocket sized Junk Journals to create in each month.

Here's March's JJ covered with rice paper and stamped flowers
painted in Spring time colours and very simply embellished...

with a Tim Holtz die cut and watercoloured bird resembling the
Blue Tit, she sings amid a Spring inspired textured background..

and because time didn't allow me to share last month
here's a small selection from Februarys Junk Journal...

Paper pockets filled with layered scraps with machine stitched edges.

Documenting my Son and his Girlfriends engagement announcement

and some mindful doodling as the door closed on February...

Please be safe creative friends..

Creative Artiste ~ March Mixed Media Challenge #80

 Hello Creative Friends

our theme is always *Anything Mixed Media Goes*

This month my Design Team project uses fabric remnants, with a focal
Daffodil cut from card, stitched and painted. A wool wrapped curtain
ring represents the Corona or more commonly known trumpet. With hand
woven button as the stamen it makes a bright statement of Spring.

The fabric scrap background is embellished with beads, stray threads,
sequins, lace and buttons, all drawn together with needle and thread
in both machine stitch and hand embroidery...

I loved watching it's design immerge and grow,
it's incredibly tactile and so cheerful...

Turned into a mini wall quilt a gift for Mother's Day
I hope my Mom will find it uplifting all year round.

What ever your creative choice of medium, be it a mix of fabric remnants
embellished like my own. Paper, paint and stencils on a Journal background
ATC's, mixed media cards, Tags or inventive altered projects we'd love
you to share your mixed media creations with the Creative Artiste Team.

Pop on over HERE to see what the DT have created to inspire you.

I hope you will join our Creative Artiste March #80 Challenge
and please remember it's always *Anything Mixed Media Goes*

Creative Hugs and best wishes
