Oswald.... Lets Dance..!!

I've not had chance to play around with Oswald but he always looked like he was
dancing to me or in need of throwing a few shapes on the dance floor....

Using Pen, ink and a little bit of sparkle on his feathery brows his scene has been created.
Fun image to work with easy to resize and so adaptable..

He'd look great in a Santa Hat don't you think..??

Purrr-fect Purr-trait...!!

Life has been extremely busy recently so I thought I would quickly share with you a 5x7 canvas I had fun creating a couple of weeks ago.
I've used Lindsay Mason's Feline Fun Digital Downloads containing Six cat images (of which I used five.) I had tried to use each Kitty separately but they seemed a happier family all together... Hence the Purrr-fect Purr-trait..!! Each having their own character.

The background was created using Tim Holtz Gothic Stencil and IndigoBlu Acrylic Paints, Peppermint Tea and Banana Custard. The cats have been coloured using ProMarkers.

Purrr-fect Purr-trait... Take 2.. Photo Bomb!!

Like most family portraits there is always something that doesn't go quite to plan. So just for a bit of fun I added one of Lindsays Kookie Creatures another Digital Image available to download from Lindsays Etsy Store.  There's nothing like a Photo Bomb to bring an image into the 21st Century, don't you think ..??

"Percy... sometimes...."

Percy just one of many Digital Downloads by Lindsay Mason available to purchase from Lindsays' Etsy store. Printed and coloured with pro markers using shades and tones of Sepia, Percy has been cut out and raised onto a water colour wash background.

The Quote: Taken from Lindsay Mason Design "Creative Thoughts" A5 Stamp set...
**sometimes we just need to stop, listen to the voice inside and then take another route... seemed to fit quite nicely with the image.

Mat and layered the design has been pasted onto a plywood frame that I upcycled by sanding, painting and beating a few times with a hammer (just to give that distressed look..!!) A little gilding wax added the final touch..

The Owl and the Pussy Cat (Wallace and Tazzy)

I'd like to introduce Wallace and Tazzy both Digital Images by Lindsay Mason available to download from Etsy. Please check out the links given.

Using acrylic paints I painted a landscape onto an MDF Plaque. Wallace was printed onto simple copy paper and coloured using spectrum noir alcohol markers. The image was cut and pasted onto the Plaque and sealed with Mod Podge. A good helping of Glossy Accents highlight Wallaces gorgeous eyes and the words Be Wise!!! There's Wisdom Whispering Within You.. add the finishing touch before he's ready to hang.

Tazzys mannerism made me think ..on the prowl so Tazzy on the Town was created. The background was drawn free hand and painted using Dylusions paint. The wall was built up using Creative Expressions mini stencil "bricked" and ranger texture paste. The Graffiti was created using Posca Markers.
Tazzy again was printed onto copy paper and coloured with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, cut and pasted using Mod Podge. A Snazzy Traffic Lights Collar gives Tazzy the finishing touch...

Pugglies Adventure.... Using Sweet Dixie Zendoodle Houses & Pugglie Digital Image designed by Lindsay Mason.

Today I thought i'd share a Sun shine inspired creation using both stamp and digi image designed by Lindsay Mason. The House is from Sweet Dixie Zendoodle Houses from Personal Impressions and as you can see I have used just one stamp, adapting it to create a Beach Hut.

The image was stamped multiple times and coloured using Posca markers perfect because of their vibrancy.

Pugglie is a cute Digital Image who to me screams adventure. The image is available to purchase from Lindsay Masons Etsy Shop. The Hanky Hat is my own addition seemingly fitting with the Sea Side Theme.

Cut and pasted onto the seaside background Pugglie can be found dipping his toes in the cool sea. Apologies for the poor photo, its quite a large image and was difficult to capture everything.

Heart Angel *Lindsay Mason Digital Image*

I felt I needed to move away from the traditional Reds & Pinks associated with hearts so it has taken me a while to get an effective balance of colour without hopefully losing the images serenity.
Lindsay Masons Heart Angel  is just one of many of Lindsay's Digital Images available to purchase from Etsy for next to nothing and worth every penny. As you will see from the link both the hair and dress are much shorter.

The eyes immediately drew me to this Digital Image rather like the Mona Lisa and I knew how I personally wanted to adapt it.

Distress Stickles were used to enhance the Ombré effect of the hair and a groove or two using an embossing tool.

My background was created using Hammered card, Distress inks, Creative Expressions Stencil and Viva Decor wax paste. Using Graphit' Alcohol Makers on Neenah Classic Crest Card the DI was coloured and transformed, the image was then cut out and placed onto the background. The words were taken from Lindsay Mason Designs FLY, SOAR, SOUL, DREAM Stamp Set.

Thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy my crafty creation as much as I enjoyed creating it. Creative Hugs from Tracey xx

Lindsay Mason Designs Digital Images

Thought I'd share some recent makes using Lindsay Masons Downloadable Digital Images available on Etsy these all come from the DI's entitled Kookie Kreatures. Super characters (or should that be *Karacters*) to work with that can be dressed up or down..!!

Firstly two cards the Fox & the Kitty, useful for Birthdays, loved ones or just a general Hello.. The Fox was my interpretaion of an image I saw last year of a fox basking in the early morning summer sunshine, later to be joined by its mate, quiet a sight to see living in an Urban area and one I will never forget..
As for Kitty well I must admit if I was a kitty I'd be dreaming of that fish too..!!

Next two larger projects, intended as a Journal page but still undecided (i'm getting quite good at being indecisive recently..!!)

I must say I had great fun with both of these projects using a range of acrylic paints & alcohol markers. *I Love U* was adapted many times eventually coming to the conclusion that his or her paws were signing out *This Much*.. The project also uses Trees from Lindsay Mason Design stamps Keep on Smiling (PICSA6208) From Personal impressions and a wonderful quote from Lindsays' Creative Thoughts A5 Stamp set.
And Finally ..Just GOT TO HAVE IT..!!! The mouses surprised hand jester made me think he'd seen something mesmerizing.. Maybe it was the CHEESE ..??

All great images to play with and have lots of fun.. I hope you've enjoyed taking a peek..?? Crafty Hugs from Tracey xx
