Oh so lovely Vintage

 Hello everyone

Yay for the weekend...
I'm late sharing this but better late than never.

Last weekend I had some spare crafty time but spent most of
it discovering unfinished projects, I found some lovely things.

This junk journal spread was Inspired by a Lifebook 2021 tutorial
by Laly Mille called hiding places started way back in early July.

The little envelope holds a book full of old music and book pages
over stamped decorated with lace scraps, washi and postage stamps.

I never tire of using this stamp, my favourite of the
moment it always leaves an impressive mark. Stamped
onto an embellished postcard with a washi tape hinge.

When opened it reveals a stamped flower image, sentiment
and a tag pocket to hide little secrets and precious things..

I could spend every crafty day creating junk journal pages like these...

Happy weekend everyone

Creative Artiste SEPTEMBER Challenge ~ #75 Anything Mixed Media Goes

 Hello Creative Friends

Time again to welcome you all to
our theme is ALWAYS *Anything Mixed Media Goes*

This month my mixed media make brings together previous
project left overs and things that never really came to be.

The stencilled box frame has seen many colours over the past
months before I settled on Prize Ribbon and tarnished brass.

A piece of clock face flexi mould pasted to a grey board heart was
cut to fit with precision inside the box aperture. Painted in similar
colours the heart is suspended over the embossed typewriter inner.

Adorned with die cut and painted colorize blooms an idea-ology tag
distressed to blend in with the frame colours completes the design.

Probably my favourite make of 2021 i'm always amazed by
what can be created with those little bits left behind..

Pop on over and see what the Fabulous Design Team
have created this SEPTEMBER over HERE..

Look forward to seeing your Mixed Media Makes..

*Unstoppable*

 Hello Creative Friends,

I can't quite believe September's here already...

What a manic month August was, not many daylight hours to play.
This collaged magazine figure has been sitting on my desk for weeks.

Over painting with heavy body acrylics, palette knife scrapes and lots of
finger smudging, the finer details are reworked using coloured pencils.

She looks super confident... the word *Unstoppable* seemed quite apt.

The rain has held off this past week so there's been plenty of walks
to help blow the stress out of my hair.. I'll leave you with a pic of
Freya striking a pose, whilst sniffing the air for squirrels.. 😁

Really looking forward to catching up with you all.

Happy September
