Today my Design Team project is a page from my journal..
Blog visitors will already know I have a love for portraiture and flowers
this piece is very much back to basics coloured using just pencil and paint.
First stamping out her face, her hair was drawn by tracing around a template.
Given a floral crown she is painted with fresco paint then coloured with pencil.
Given wings you may be led to believe she is a Fairy but please do not be
mistaken for she's a Butterfly Girl ready to spread her wings and be seen.

what a clever way to create a face, those stamps are new to me so I went and had a look. So much versatility. Love you you have coloured her, such beautiful green eyes and hair, my favourite colour. Thanks for visiting me and your kind comments too xx
