 Hello everyone,

Wednesday desk sharing day @ the stamping ground,
hard to believe a quarter of the year has gone already.

The recent good weather has called me into my garden
keeping me away from my creative space or online time.
Here lies supplies from last Sunday's play day and some
extra stamped, coloured and cut out Butterflies.

I did make use of those watercolour swatches from last week.
Angela (Felix the cat) would call these master boards i'm sure.
A3 in size they came about via a Laly Mille Tutorial, hoping to
get another play day over this weekend and move on to the
next stage.. the weather is supposed to be pants over Easter.

What every you are up to this weekend
take care & stay safe everyone.

Hugs Tracey xx

Well, Tracey, if those Laly Mille Tutorials lead to beautiful butterflies like that being coloured I guess I need to look her up. They are stunning! what love winged insects you have on your desk.
Yes, it has been gorgeous and today is forecast to be even warmer. Maybe it is for the best that it will cool down over Easter stop the crowds flocking to the seaside and flaunting the rules.
Hugs, Neert 12 xx

Those watercolour boards are fabulous - such peaceful and lovely colours and they will be a joy to use in many ways. The butterflies are sweet too and beautifully coloured as well. Just a wonderfully restful desk visit and very calming after the chaos on MY desk LOL!

Desk hopping on a sunny day!

Stunning masterboards! I've not seen anything like those before but they look good enough to frame already. I've got a growing list of tutorials and names to check out since coming back to WOYWW so I'll add this name in too. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #3

I love those master boards, it’s something I’ve never tried so must have a peek at the tutorial you followed - they’d be great as backgrounds for all sorts of things! And the butterflies are fab, your colouring is brilliant, the tones are fantastic.

Oh my life those "masterboards" are delightful. Just got my watercolours out to try the squares technique I've seen on a couple of desks lately as I am a total newbie with watercolours but am Soooooooooo taken by what you have done will have to find the tutorial, getting excited. Thanks for the inspiration. Oh and the butterflies are to die for, so life like. Love butterflies BJ#13

Beautiful butterflies - I almost expect them to fly away they look so real! Lovely watercolour swatches/masterboard as well - I must look up that tutorial - I'm on Laly's email list, I probably missed it. Happy gardening - I hope the weather won't be too "pants" though - perhaps just some showers that we badly need at this time of year! Have a lovely week, Tracey, and Happy Easter! xx zsuzsa #22

This time of year is such a wrench of choices isn’t it, garden at every warm ish opportunity, or desk time. Garden has to win though, apart from anything else, I like to look on a tidy and blooming plot, so have to give time to do it! You’re quite right about working alfresco Tracey, I don’t roll the desk out because there are hurdles, but I did pull the folding doors right back and turn the desk to face the garden and get some sun on my skin. Glorious, it really is, and not a day goes by that I don’t thank my lucky stars. Meanwhile, call em want you like, those HUGE pieces are just the business and I’m curious top see where you go next with the, this is part of the art of your real artists, you can take it to another stage and ‘see’ more to it. I can’t. Don’t know when to stop or stop too soon!! Have a lovely weekend, if the weather’s as rubbish as they’ve threatened, I guess you’ll manage some desk time. Make sure it’s accompanied by chocolate!

I love seeing other artists desks and workshops! So much to look at, and your creativity sparkles! :) I'm dying to get out in the dirt, but it's still a little too chilly here for that! :)

Hi Tracey, thanks for your visit. I hadn't really thought about it being a quarter of the way through the year but that is - depressing? I dunno, time just seems to be trickling through my fingers these days. Like you I've been in the garden making the most of the weather but it was pretty chilly today and I think we've had the best of it for a bit so I shall doubtless be in the craft room over Easter and into next week - in between garden coffee meets with some local friends, though at this temp they will be short and sweet! Loving the master boards. Happy Easter! Have a good week, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindy xx #23
