Creative Artiste ~ October Anything Mixed Media Goes #98

 Hello creatives

Time to introduce you to Creative Artiste October Challenge
where our theme is always *Anything Mixed Media Goes #98*

My journal page this month is full of Autumnal splendor
as October has always been my favourite time of year.

Upon a collage and stencilled background I've created a woodland
scene using die cuts of new and old along with unused remnants
from projects created way way back in the past.

Rusty brown painted and enamel embossed die cut tree's and finger
smudged inks surround a stamped on rice paper quote by Rumi:
*Let yourself be silently drawn by the
stronger pull of what you really love..*

A stamped, coloured and fussy cut Hedgehog makes her home
nestled cosily amid leafy woodland layers... beautiful Autumn.

If you enjoy mixing up your media come join our challenge HERE

The team look forward to seeing your Mixed Media creations @

Take care & stay creative
Hugs Tracey xx

This is amazing Tracey. It is a wonderful woodland scene, and it feels like home to me, as we have a lot of those colors right now. I like how you used the dies to give it some depth and texture. I also hope all has been well with you. And maybe you're not quite so busy? Sending hugs and hope for a wonderful October. hugs-Erika

This is fabulous Tracey, it's a gorgeous little scene with all those details, love the little hedgehog. We put food out and have a couple that visit the garden each night. I always feel so happy when I catch them feeding.

A wonderful journal spread Tracey, so rich in colours and textures. The tattered leaves mixed with beautiful flowers and vibrant toadstools creates a gorgeous contrast and an awesome nest for your adorable hedgehog. The addition of the little ladybird is a fabulous detail xx

Such a magical piece - it really draws you into the scene and the story you have created. That hedgehog is adorable - we have one comes and visits us and it's so lovely to see nature up that close.
