Make your mark..

 Hello everyone

October it's speeding along so I'm sharing a

two masked pages washed with my Autumnal watercolour palette.

Gathered leaves placed randomly into the watercolour area,
painted over then just left to dry. A slow process this time of year
but very much worth the wait when you peel back those dried leaves...

Something unique every time..

This page is destined to become bookmarks.. don't you agree??

Wishing you all a safe & creative week

Hugs Tracey xx

How stunning, Tracey. The two pages really compliment each other, too. You created two beautiful pages. I love the hand drawn abstracts, too. Thanks for these two inspiring entries featuring your theme at Art Journal Journey, dear.

I love how you used the 3 strips on the white. The white really makes those colors pop. And yes, they will be great bookmarks. I love the watercolor wash of paint on both of these. They are really beautiful and capture the feel of autumn perfectly. Nice technique too. I need to try that. Or least putting leaves down and painting over them and then lifting them. I would have thought to glue them down for texture, but you created some beautiful texture without the glue. Hope all is well with you Tracey, and thanks for sharing these. Hugs-Erika

These are wonderful - I've been missing you on WOYWW - mind you, I don't do every week myself, but it seems you've been gone for ages. Someone linked in JJJ and that's how I ended up here. I'd better check what you've been up to! Sending you hugs xx

Two really gorgeous makes Tracey, I love that leaf technique you used, it shows up so much of the leaf definition and the colours are all so wonderful and so perfectly autumnal. The strips would definitely make great bookmarks, it would be an awful shame to hide them away. Love these! Hugs, Anne xx
