October Blessings...

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a good weekend?

I'm sharing another page at Art Journal Journey
for my Favourite Colour is October journal theme.

Displaying the spectrum of colour October blesses me with.
Based around an image from a 6x6 paper pad, It's been extended using
watercolour, pen and pencil adding a fussy cut red fox and squirrel.

Sadly our native red squirrel is a rare thing in the UK
but the Grey Squirrel I see daily, foraging in the grasses,
running rings around the tree's or shaking my bird feeders..

Acorns and layered Fungi the great communicators of the forest,
caretakers of plants and tree's. Waiting for those leaves to fall
ready to break them down to create food for ground feeders
and insects, enriching the soil once more..

Nature it never cease's to amaze me..

Take care everyone
Stay safe & creative

Hugs Tracey xx

What a beautiful page you have created, dear Tracey, love the layers and the beautiful scene you created. We only have red squirrels here, and from time to time I see a fox walking through the fields. Love how you painted the autumn trees on the right. Have a great week, take care, hugs, Valerie

What a gorgeous entry, Tracey. I love it. I guess great minds think along the same lines, but your fungi are so much better done that the ones I'm working on. I absolutely LOVE the stitching, perfect in every way, and the bit of lace the fox is standing behind. Beautiful colors and amazing images. Your drawing skills are amazing, dear. Thanks for this wonderful entry you shared with us at Art Journal Journey using your theme.

A beautiful page Tracey and super inspiration for tour choice of theme at AJJ.
Looking at each piece you added drew mw into the scene you created for us to enjoy.
Have a good week.

This is amazing Tracey, and I love how you incorporated the already printed paper with your own work. very clever. I've heard how the grey squirrels have displaced the native red ones. Here we have both. The red ones are so fun to watch compared to the grey. They are not shy either. You have created such a beautiful autumn scene. I do love October. And you page captures its beauty. Happy new week. Hugs-Erika

A gorgeous Autumn scene Tracey! We have a grey squirrel that likes to hang upside down on our bird peanut feeder. I love watching his antics.
