Hunter's moon...

Hello creative friends,

I'm sharing a reworked journal page created last July
in a lesson by Maureen Nadeau where we were asked to
create a mixed media moon based on our own zodiac moon.

Being born under a New Moon what I created really didn't
connect with me so I've adapted mine to fit with my theme

Here's the OCTOBER full moon or Hunter's Moon as it's known

Illuminating those Autumnal leaves as night begins to fade

baring it's bright Orange bottom.. 😊

Now if only the skies would have been clear from cloud to
have seen it's fiery glow last night... maybe next year.

Stay safe & creative everyone

Tracey xx

What a stunning page you created, Tracey. Very fiery. It's too bad the cloud cover prevented this scene for real. It's certainly a gorgeous entry nd so very, very well drawn, too. Thanks for an inspiring entry using your theme at Art Journal Journey.

This is amazing Tracey. I was looking at the moon list night, and it was pretty amazing by itself. But these pretty autumn leaves you added really make this page even better. I love this journal page a lot. Thanks for sharing it with us. Hope your week is going well. Hugs-Erika

This is soo beautiful Tracey. And did you know this moon is also called the "blood moon"? We were lucky in our area to have clear skies and a great view of it. Happy PPF!

Wow Tracey. This is simply stunning. The colors are amazing. That dark background makes the moon and leaves really pop. Well done my friend.

This is gorgeous, Tracey! Not just the colours and the textures, I also love the leaves. It feels like I could touch them, but I am afraid of moving them if I do. Really beautiful!

I am not sure how I missed this, especially as I love a Hunter's moon, well any moon really! Your moon is stunning and shows those leaves off so beautifully. Sadly, we did not get to see the moon either due to murky skies but as you say, perhaps next year! Hope you have a good week. Hugs, Anne xx
