Hello everyone,
I'm very grateful to be back online after some frustrating days,
thought i'd share my twist on an old master by da Vinci.
I call it *Mona my way.. *
It all started with a Bee Crafty Mona Lisa Artstamp, stamped onto
rice paper and pasted to a page, the rest kind of ... just happened.
Capturing her backdrop with delicate watercolour, heavy gouache
and acrylics adding in extra detail with pencil and pen.
Holding a handful of paintbrushes, I like to think she
helped to paint that imaginary scene behind her.. 😊
As it's Paint Party Friday's 10th Birthday Blogoversary she's wearing
her Party hat especially for Kristin and EVA . I've been known to wear
that very same hat myself @ a previous PPF Party 😁
Take care & be safe everyone
Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

What a great idea that is with the brushes and the birthday hat on the head or the flower. Nice that you're back.
You succeeded in the serenade for PPF
Happy PPF, hug Elke
She looks fabulous with and without the hat. Fabulous background and I love the flower.

This is fabulous Tracey, what a wonderful idea. Great birthday card! Hugs, Valerie
Love Mona your way! She has a very Tahiti or Hawaiian feeling to her with the flower in her hair. Happy PPF!
Your Mona is lovely with her new found sense of cheerfulness that I've not seen before. Well done!
Love it. A great idea and you have made a brilliant job of it.
That is a pretty amazing painting. I think Leonardo would be jealous and I think Mona might like this one better. She certainly looks a lot happier.
I like your idea that it just happened. The paints did it. I like your background too, it's more gentle.
Thanks to Mona for wearing a pretty flower in her hair for the AJJ theme and I love that you have given her paintbrushes so that she now has something to do.
And she has also gone wild with the hat and pompom.
Thanks, Tracey, for another great entry for AJJ.
Oh, she looks pretty!
Happy PPF!
Mona has a new more modern look. Well done, Tracey.
Enjoy the weekend and be in safe hands xx
Fabulous page! I love how you used the Mona Lisa stamp and made it your own, and it made me smile that she was holding the paintbrushes as she had helped paint the beautiful background scene - gorgeous 😁. I hope that your computer problems are all sorted now, Happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x
You've worked your magic again .... Stunning, fun and fabulous and I love it Tracey x.
I really like what you did with Mona Tracey. Now I know why she has that smile. Who knew that Da Vinci wanted to hide the fact he was not the only artist at the scene. (smile) These are fun additions. I'm also glad to hear you are finally back online. Glad you stopped by AJJ too. Thanks for sharing this fun Mona with us. Happy weekend too. Hugs-Erika

Looks like I arrived very late to the party. What else is new this year? I am in LOVE with that stamp. It is wonderful. And you colored everything beautifully, too. It's a magnificent and colorful gem and we are SO glad you shared it with us at Art Journal Journey using Sheila's theme, too.
Oh yes! I just had to come and see Mona wearing her party hat! fabulous!
