A little Tree Dressing...

 Hello everyone,

How you all keeping ??

My Christmas Tree is taking a break this year,
I just couldn't face decorating it alone, always
something we do as a family but like most families
they are all staying safe in their own homes in 2020.

A small potted Christmas Tree takes it's place with
hope it will survive the move outdoors in the new year.

In need of a little decoration I thought i'd paint these
stamperia paper clay baubles to brighten things up a little.

Dressed with Tim Holtz pine twine, wired beads, tinsel and berry bells..

they remind me so much of the mercury glass baubles
from my childhood and bring some indoor vintage cheer.

Wishing you all a super, safe Sunday.

Creative wishes
Tracey xx

It is going to be a different kind of holiday this year with covid, isn't it? Scary to think a little invisible virus can cause so much havoc. Your ornaments are just gorgeous, and I hope you felt a bit festive making them. I bet they look great on your tree. Thanks for sharing with us at Try It On Tuesday Tracey. Hope you are having a nice weekend. Hugs-Erika

It is a different Christmas this year, Tracey. But I am glad you decided to make your own ornaments. We need joy, we need decoration, we need smile in our lives. So, congrats to you, my friend. I love your Christmas ornaments.

We all are in the same situation, and I try to believe that next year is better than this has been. Let's all try to enjoy what we have; candle light, rest, traditional food and warmth.
Your decorations are breath takingly beautiful; thank you for sharing, Tracey.
Wishing you all the best,
and a Happy Christmas xx

Wow what fabulous and vintagy looking tree decorations. Love how you've painted them and 'dressed' them....unique and glorious x. Stay safe and hang onto those memories x.

Wow Tracey what gorgeous baubles, absolutely beautiful! We've not put our big tree up inside this year either. We've always decorated it all together and of course nothing feels the same this year. We've decorated a tree outside but it's getting a bit cold to sit out there now though! Take care and have a very merry Christmas, Sue xx

Your hand crafted baubles are an absolute delight Tracey and I am sure they will be very special for years to come, if only as a reminder of this truly strange, sad and very different year. We have yet to put our tree up and if I had my way, I would do the same as you.

I hope you have had a reasonable weekend and that you keep safe and well going forward. Hugs, Anne xxx

Tracey, this makes me a little sad, but I'm happy you will make a potted live tree the centerpiece of your Christmas decor. Your ornaments are so vintage fabulous! I wish you all the best for you and each of your family members this Christmas, and am sure you will find a way to be together, even if not under the same roof. Many prayers for a better New Year! love your baubles Tracey. I also made clay ornaments this year. I did put a tree up (first time in a few years) and I almost didn't because, it will just be me and the cats, but hey they are enjoying it so it was worthwhile. I'm going to stay in my PJs and avoid anything overly festive and enjoy my day doing nothing. Drop by if you like, dress code is very casual :)

Oh! I'm delighted to see these gorgeous ornaments in the gallery at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog! Each one of them is painted to perfection in vintage colors. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the one in blue! All so lovely! Merry Christmas!
