WOYWW #541

Hello everyone,

Time again to share what's on our workdesks thanks to
Julia clearing a crafty space over at the stamping ground
every Wednesday for us to show and tell...

Been away for a long weekend with our Scottish pals,
Blackpool's the ideal half way meeting point. Glad to see
the Venetian Carousel still in working order, you'd think
it had been on the North Pier for much longer than it has.

Had to share a pic of it.. such a beautiful thing but
such a shame to see the Pier's in need of lots of TLC.

My desk shows my addiction to that Apple Blossom
orchid stamp. I shared a make using it the other week
it's such a useful stamp covering almost any occasion
and everyone seems to need cards at the moment.

The reflective tree stamp was a bargain Ebay buy...

Just need to add a bit more sparkle before they make
their way to their new home on Thursday.

Back to DIY and garden clean up today if the rain holds off
hoping to get that old decking off to the recycle centre.

Look forward to seeing whats on you workdesk.

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Morning Tracey. Those cards are gorgeous - well done. Trust the gardening goes well - it's currently pouring with rain here on the N Wales coast, so no gardening here today - again! That carousel is great. Did you get a ride on it?
Take care. God bless.

The carousel is beautiful but it's always sad to see places needing TLC. The cards are beautiful and I can see why you love that stamp, it really is a 'go to' stamp indeed!
Hope you get a dry day today - I'm hoping to get my violas and pansies planted up today if the rain holds off,

Lovely cards. I was on Cromer pier this time last week. Made me realise we never really took our own kids to the British seaside, always abroad!! Do love a carousel, saw a beautiful steampunk one in Brussels when I was there the other year. Happy WOYWW Cindy #18

Such a beautiful stamp, dear Tracey, your cards will be loved , where they are received .
Such a beauty it is the carousel, thank you for showing ,- I don`t know what the TLC is but
all over things need to be taken care of , and such a pity if the piers are not kept as should.
So glad you had a lovely time dear , we had too, here .
Hugs to you , and will write soon . xoxo

You are so right about the Apple Blossom Orchid stamp, it will cover a variety of occasions, as you have shown with your beautiful cards.

How lovely to spend time with good friends. The Venetian carousel is stunning, it is such a shame that the pier has fallen a little by the wayside. It makes me sad that many of the piers around the country are in a similar condition.

Hi Tracey! I love seeing carousels. There is one at a place I vacation a lot with my family that is the oldest in the US. I still think they are magical.
Loving your get well cards. Your coloring is beautiful and I like the reflection on the other card. Thanks for stopping by.

Not been to Blackpool in ages, been to Cleveleys which is just up the road but not Blackpool. I had no idea about this beautiful Carousel. So glad you shared a picture with us, it is gorgeous, one of the nicest I have seen, including the one in Paris. What a lovely bonus on top of a weekend with friends - a long one too!
Love how you are addicted to the orchid stamp. Isn't it funny how we become like that over a stamp. Then something else comes along and you become addicted to that one for a time - well, that is how it goes with me. You made three lovely cards with your addiction stamp and I do like the flection one you got from Ebay. What a lot of possibilities there are with that!
Take care, have a good week
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
Thanks for the tip re the white pens and warmth x

Sounds like you had a wonderful time with friends in Blackpool. I have to tell you, the carousel was what made me incredibly happy.

You created some awesome cards, Tracey. I know I'm late visiting, but that's been the story of my life lately.

I can see you've been enjoying yourself with the apple blossom - they all look really pretty - and the I'm very drawn to that lovely tree stamp... reflective in both ways - I do love a visual/verbal pun, and it's beautiful at the same time as clever. The carousel is just wonderful - none of that garish fairground stuff... that's proper, that is.
