Happy July Creative friends
Thanks to Julia over at her stamping ground it's time again for
people far and wide to share What's on their workdesk?Wednesday.
It's still all about pens and pencils on my make shift desk even my
VERY late to arrive JUNE scawlr box had pencils in this edition.
The faces are from Paperbabe stamps not Jane Davenport as
Linda enquired last week, although I do have plenty of those
stamps and stencils... the obsession with faces is on going..
The cottons are for a project that will come to light in August 😊
Life's still extremely busy here but this little set up helps me
focus at the end of the day. Had a day off last Sunday so sat in the
garden enjoying the fine weather and finished off this journal page.
As online/blogging time is limited I've had to schedule this post
and will be sharing with Try it on Tuesday's ~ Material Girl Challenge
along with Art Journal Journey and Chris' theme We're all/going...
as even at my busiest we're all entitled to a moment for ourselves.
**Happy Independence Day this July 4th**
to all my American Buddies.
Look forward to our catch up and seeing WoywW

You created a fabulous journal spread, dear Tracey. I love your interpretation of the theme, and I love the muted colors you chose for the spread. This is a beautiful woman, and you develop those faces so well. Thanks beyond belief, because I understand crazy busy, for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Chris's theme.
Beautiful, dreamy art journal page, Tracey. The girl looks great.
Enjoy the day xx
I like the idea of having a little set up area to go to. Think I might try that Tracey. Thank you for the tip

Wow, that journal spread is amazing, I love what you've done with the colours and the face - clever gal! It has such a vintage feel but modern vibe too. Really lovely.
And thanks for your lovely comment - Mary will be carrying gin up to her eyrie in that bag most probably! ;-)

Wow, what a stunning page! Your lady is a real beauty and I love the grungy surroundings that you created for her, it looks amazing 😁. So pleased that you found time to get creative, hope you mum is doing better, wishing her well! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at Try it on Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
Yikes, that page is beautiful. That face, coloured so beautifully it looks like a photo. I wish you many more quiet moments in the garden over the course of the summer. I don’t know why but I guess it’s a hangover from being in school term mode...but I always expect the summer to be quieter. And it isn’t is it, no change in the manic-ness.
I think I have lingered far too long just looking back and staring in awe at your pages. Absolutely beautiful Tracey! Your obsession (as you called it) with faces pays off as you do them such credit. This face is 'dreamy' and she is so beautiful that it makes me feel calm along with the opposite page which looks as if it is textural. Your choice of colours is perfect and I just cannot get enough of this page.
So sorry life has taken over and you have to search for time to craft, but when you do you make the most wonderful art. Just always try to find time for you. Hope mum and hubby are improving daily.
Wishing you peace and happiness
Hugs, Neet 15 xx

Oh my goodness Tracey, your journal page is out of this world gorgeous! The lady is so beautiful. If I could do faces like you I would do them every day! So glad you found some 'me' time in your busy life and I hope you find some more soon. Hugs, Anne xx
Tracey I just love the journal page - just the sort of look I like. Intrigued by the cottons. :-) Thanks for popping by. You would be very welcome to come and craft and share choc and wine. Anne x 10
Hi Tracey, what an amazing journal page. Absolutely fantastic. I hope life settles down for you soon. I'm struggling to find time to craft at the moment, so much going on at the same time, but crafting helps me relax, so I've taken a leaf out of Neet's book, and even if it's just colouring or fussy cutting, I can do that anywhere. Have a lovely week Heather xx #26
Thank you Valerie, she is a napkin/rice paper image that has been sat in my journal for some time now and in need of a little creative attention xx
That's such a gorgeous journal page and quote - beautiful dreamy colours.
I love all your pens, pencils and crafting supplies. Enjoy the rest of your week 💞
Gorgeous, Tracey. I love the muted colours and the romantic feel to this - so emotive. We don't need to even think about the meaning of the words because it's so charged with emotion. I hope your busyness is positive and productive...it's good to see the art you're creating in your down time. You look super organised - just like me (ahem!!! NOT!)
Thank you so much for playing with us at Try it on Tuesday.

Dear Tracey, thank you as always for your lovely comments, you really have a great way of commenting on a post to cheer one! And yes, am catching up here seem to go way behind myself, Life happens I guess and we keep thinking it will slow dine, and it doesn’t.
Faces.
Well your obsession has really born fruit. Yes, I would be excessively happy to achieve anything remotely as wonderful and moody as this.
The complementing of colours and texture on the opposing page truly is excellent. Well done, you’ve brought joy to many too, who’ve come over to admire it also.
Pray we both manage our time well in the busyness. 😊
Thanks for being a blessing, God bless you too.

You keep your obsession with faces going my friend...I love them! Always good to take time out for ourselves occasionally x Wonderful and stunning journal page x
A stunning journal page Tracey, love the face surrounded by the lacey textures and gorgeous subtle colours giving it a dreamy romantic look.
Thanks for sharing with us at Try it on Tuesday,
Avril xx
Thanks for your return visit, Tracey. Several people have told me they were loom bands and I'd never heard of them! It doesn't sound as if they are much use for anything else but the box is great! You are right - it only seems yesterday that we went to that fete last year! How time flies. It's nice to know you've also got a copy of that design book, and others besides. I was thinking of looking them up and seeing if it was worth getting more. Thanks for your good wishes for our meal out yesterday. We had such a lovely time, and afterwards we brought our friend back here and we all sat in the garden which is looking so lovely at the moment, and she was able to meet the kitties for the first time. Altogether a lovely day!

Beautiful art journal spread! I love the colors and elegance of the whole thing. LoVeLy!
Congrats on page and interpretation. It makes us reflect a lot.
Peace!
Holy cow, Tracey! Your art journal pages are lovely! The muted colors, the texture, and the utter expressiveness draws me in! Your faces are so fascinating, and this one has got to be one of my favorites; your shading makes her incredibly life like. And to think you did this in your garden, where you were obviously inspired. I really, really love this! Sorry to be late, but just don't have the time in the day to spend on my computer. Sending big hugs! Off to see your other latest work!
A beautiful Journal page with a dreamy woman I imagine she thinks of her beloved. Amazing colors, love your page, and lots of inspiration. Hugs, Susan
