WOYWW #476

Hello everyone

It's WOYWW476 and time to share what's on our work desk and visit others
courtesy of our lovely host Julia over at the stamping ground.

*WARNING*
For those with OCD or just liking a place for everything you may need to look away..

I've made a bit of a mess this week... in the hope of tidying up some WIP's I decided in my
wisdom if I piled them all onto the kitchen table I could sort them out one by one.

Yeah Yeah.. who was I trying to kid..?

Just like the magic porridge pot it's grown and grown.. It's only when I stopped that I
realised how many things I have on the go.. Arggghhhhh as if life isn't busy enough.

I should never have started and most definitely never have stopped until i'd finished.
I'm awaiting delivery of some indoor and outdoor storage to help house this mess.

Your eye's are not playing tricks on you, there is a Doll on the table.
She escaped from the Play house at the bottom of my garden on Sunday.
Maybe she was afraid of the Bee's that are nesting underneath it hee hee!!
My intention was to put her back where she fell out of but I think she'd make
a great alternative Christmas Elf on a Shelf.. Sigh..! Another WIP..

Have a fabulous day WOYWWer's
i'll be round to visit asap.

Creative wishes
Tracey xx

Your desk has raised a smile here for sure, and I expect a lot of us have similar stories! hope the storage comes soon and you can put things away. Helen #1

My wip grows and grows and never diminishes despite valiant efforts so you have my commiserations - oh heck you have reminded me of the pile of stuff that needs sorting and I thought I had tidied up in readiness for a crafting visitor. Ah well, got another week yet.
Love the Bratz doll, so she is being transformed for Christmas - can't wait to see.
Hugs and have a good week, Neet 5 xx

Your desk looks fine to me, mine looks similar just with even more layers. Albert Einstein said an empty desk was a symbol of an empty mind! That's one thing we don't have to worry about! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

I hate to tell you Tracey, but I really must be OCD. My work space is so small, I have to put things away as soon as I've used them. If I don't they get lost and I end up spending even more time hunting something down. But you obviously have a lot more going on than I have at the moment. It's obvious I'm not playing today, but had to stop by and stare at your pile of clutter (grin).

I envy you in your tidy ways Elizabeth... I'm working my way through it all, hoping for a clutter free life before it all consumes me Hee heee xx

I had to chuckle at your photo Tracey; maybe the doll really is an elf and you'll wake up to find everything tidy lol. Hope you manage to get everything sorted soon. Sarah #16

I had to smile at your photo and comments as I think it did raise my stress levels quite a bit - I took a bit of a gasp when I saw it but appreciated the warning!! However at least you know just how much wip you have to tackle, and you might find some long forgotten stash!
Hope you have a great week sorting it all out,
Diana xx #17

Loved seeing all the necessary chaos bought about by a desire to finish off all those WIP. I usually shove them all back in a big box to bring out again at some stage (and then probably put them back again) Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a good day - Hazel, WOYWW #18 x

Hi Tracy, pleased it's not just me that has these crazy ideas to sort stash. I don't know what happens but the stuff just seems to grow but I agree with Diana that I usually do find things that I had forgotten I had which is like having something new to play with. Good luck with the sorting, have a great creative week and happy woyww, Angela x12x

Your desk can rival mine... very cool to see the chaos that I always make when trying to sort/tidy replicated on someone elses desk! Thanks for sharing. Caro x (#31)

I had a giggle looking at your desk. Been there a time or two.... or three...
But I've never had a doll other than my team's mascot on my desk!
Hope you get it all figured out! Have a great week!

Sorry I'm late replying - been to Winchester to clear out my son's uni flat, visiting Julia en route!
I love the chaotic madness of your desk but have realised that I must have late onset OCD as it does make my eye twitch a bit, lol!! Love the alternate Elf in a Shelf doll, that's one imported Christmas tradition that I detest!

I love your disclaimer at the beginning. I probably should have done that too! However, your pics are great! I feel right at home.

Such a lovely mess on your kitchen table, it IS a mess yes but it sure looks fun and colourful! I'm glad though that I don't have to sort it out myself, good luck! Oh, and I love the idea of turning the doll into an elf! Thanks for your visit to my blog earlier this week, Big hug from Holland, Marit #19

What a glorious and fun muddle on your desk this week, Tracey! Thank you for your two lovely comments and well done reading all that lot. I've been so busy lately... I'm still struggling to make the perfect sourdough loaf that doesn't go flat. Another flat batch today!! It does taste good, though, which is a good thing or it would be a terrible waste! I agree with you, baklava is totally fabulous. Such a gorgeous combination of textures and tastes. As for the Trolley Dollies, they've decided not to use the trolley any more, for some mysterious reason known only to themselves lol! What goes on in a kitty's head? No-one knows the answer.

Happy belated WOYWW,

I like looking at other people's super messy desks because it makes me feel better about the state of my own LOL! And I can definitely trump yours - just give me a few more weeks! Alternative Elf doll? Tell me more! I guess, I'll have to wait until Xmas to find out! Thanks for your visit earlier - it's always fun reading your comments! Hey, I've just found out that I'd made Top 3 for the June challenge on That's Crafty and I have a sneaky suspicion that it might have something to do with you being on their DT! Either way, I am delighted - it was fun taking part and I did enjoy that project so much! Hope to see you again next week on WOYWW! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday - if you can find a way to keep cool! zsuzsa #9
