WOYWW #475

Good Morning everyone.

I'm not quite sure where the last week has gone but it's time again to share
what's on my work space. Many thanks to Julia over at the stamping ground
for hosting WOYWW #475

Well there's not much Crafting been going on this week life's been so busy
with hardly any time to get online.. a welcomed break with this dysfunctional laptop!!

...but today is partly free so i'm spending the morning having a little play time using
those products I won from Kezzy a few weeks back and hoping to catch up
with what's been going on in blog land..

There's something quite magical about eating breakfast outdoors
watching the sunrise with the sound of the dawn chorus..

Dorthe kindly notified me of my win, here's the little gift I sent her to say
*Thank you* which I can now share with you as I know it has been received.

The posy was cut from one of my Lavender bushes which have thrived better than ever
this year with the mixture of stormy weather and the last 4 weeks of Summer sunshine.

The Butterflies and Bee's are having the time of their lives dancing within it.

Have a great day everyone, I'll be round to visit asap.

Creative wishes
Tracey xx

well done on your win and love the thank you you sent Dorthe. the lavendar looks gorgeous. I am looking forward to having time (after football and tennis finishes on Sunday) to get back to crafting; if the heat reduces enough! Helen #1

Beautiful shot of the lavender and butterflies! I've planted a few bushes in my new garden and they've been looking good already, all the plants I chose are specifically for bees and other pollinators. I love the way you decorated the thank you bits and pieces, so pretty!

I feel like a bit of an intruder commenting on your WOYWW post, since I am a 'lapsed' member but just wanted to say how beautiful your lavender looks, especially with the gorgeous Tortoiseshell butterflies!! Congratulations on your win, the pendant you made for Dorthe is stunning. Hope you get many more chances to breakfast in the garden too. Hugs, Anne xx

Hi Tracey, what a lovely post. I love your background, and what a great idea to send some of your own lavender as a thank you to your friend, and the beautiful card too. She must have been thrilled. I made lavender bags for all my fellow-patients when I was having my chemo 3 yrs ago and lavender always goes down well! You are another busy bee this week, it seems! Thank you for your lovely comment. I am enjoying all my current activities so much. Just waiting for Tesco to arrive with my groceries and then I can start cooking for tomorrow! Can't wait to fill the house with all those gorgeous Middle Eastern aromas...

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Tracey, What a lovely gift to send, so beautiful, so is the photo of the lavender and butterflies.
I think sometimes early mornings are the best part of the day when it's hot weather, not that I'm very often up with the dawn chorus!
Happy WOYWW

Hello dear Tracey, wonderful to see your creative table, and read your eating breakfast in the garden- we do that here, too :-)
And Tracey, your beautiful gifts , have all been showed on my fb page, I thought I would tell you, as I know, and can see, you are not on fb much. I so enjoy them all, and, feel so thankful, for having friendships like yours. Something for you, has been started :-)
Tomorrow my daughter and the kids, will arrive to spend 5 days with us, so I will also not be much online in that period . Wish you, lovely lady, a great weekend to come, and send you big hugs from here. Dorthe xxoo

Gosh I bet Dorthe was really chuffed. How like you to share your luck. Gorgeous weather and I cant agree more about early mornings in the garden. Bliss. My DH isn’t lavender keen, i discovered when he pulled up my row of bushes a couple years ago. Now I have one in a pot, which was agreed to so that we didnt lose any bees. It’s a delight this year, I must say.

Lovely capture of the butterflies on your lavender. We've seen more this year than last which is a relief because it is thought they are in decline here. Pretty gifts too. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #29

I LOVE the smell of lavender in the Summer, it always reminds me of holidays spend in France as a kid with my parents, driving through the countryside with it's lavender fields. The goodies you won are marvelous and playing with them after breakfast outside is a day well spend! Thanks for your kind comment on my blog today - yes, I studied 'textiles' when I was young but changed to 'paper' pretty soon, I do however know all the techniques still and it is fun to go back to 'textiles' every now and then and alter some clothing (or crochet a blanket, like I did last year.) Have a wonderful day and weekend! Love from sunny Holland, Marit #19

Happy Belated WOYWW and thank you for your earlier visit. I did manage to get out on my bike, but my body did not like that and I have been in a lot of pain since. Determined to not give up, but perhaps a weekly ride out is the most I can do. I haven't done the ATCs yet - but everything is sitting on the table waiting for me to have the mental energy. A message for Dorthe...you lucky lucky girl, firstly, for receiving these beautiful gifts, and secondly, for having the sweetest, kindest, generous (not just with her gifts, but with the time she takes spreading her love on people's blogs) and most thoughtful and talented friend in Tracey. X
