Creative Artiste #131 ~ Anything Mixed Media Goes

 Hello Creatives

October's here bringing a new monthly challenge

This month I share a simple handmade concertina journal
made using a decade old, dusty unloved A5 patterned paper pad.

Creating a one of a kind slow stitched and embellished
panel I used favoured fabrics and dyed lace to glorify
those colours of Autumn. Sticking down with strong glue
onto the first page to create my concertina journals cover.

Pinned with one of my fabric scrap brooches I embellished more
sewing on tiny acorn buttons, a true sign that Autumn has arrived.

The team @ Creative Artiste look forward to seeing
YOUR Mixed Media creations over HERE @

Take care everyone
Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

I think you outdid yourself with this book cover Tracey. It is gorgeous. I love the bits of fabric, lace and stitching. And even those sweet little acorn buttons are a lovely addition. I really wish I could reach through the internet and touch it to see if it feels soft or a little coarse. I hope all is well with you. hugs-Erika

Well my friend, you have created a true piece of art. There is nothing I don't like about this. The colors, the embellishment, and the way you arranged it all. Simply stunning.
