Creative Artiste ~ #110 November Anything Mixed Media Goes

Hello lovely creative friends..

Time for Novembers Creative Artiste post #110..
our challenge theme is *Anything Mixed Media Goes*

My 2024 art journal is getting quite full so here's a page from it
whilst I work out a better way of keeping this years pages together.

Stencilled and acrylic painted background a big full moon
shines through torn paper strips dragged along an ink pad.
They remind me so much of silver birch tree's as the
light of the moon catches the white space..

The funky fox I stamped onto fabric and followed the lines
of the image creating an embroidered patch colouring in with
lots of fussy stitching using just a needle and threads..

We hope you will share your mixed media makes
with the Design Team HERE and join our challenge

Stay safe & keep creative
Hugs Tracey xx

Happy November Tracey. What a cool page. I love Mr. Fox; he has such great texture. I think he's stitched, yes? And I like how you made your trees too. Simple but they look amazing and real. I hope you have a great month and figure out how to bind your journal. It's always a challenge, thank and not making it so the front cover doesn't pop up (at least for me). hugs-Erika

Oh my Tracey, you've outdone your creative self with this spectacular creation! Your scene is so beautiful and wow, the fox is amazing with all those carefully sewn stitches - love it 😊. My mum does embroidery and I know how much patience you have to have to create something like this, saying that I have no creative patience so I don't do embroidery...lol ❤️. Take care and I hope you figure out how to bind this year's pages together. Hugs, Jo x

Tracey, I love your clever technique of creating birch-like trees!! I wondered how you created that beautiful fox, and I never would've guessed in a hundred years that it's from stitching. So beautiful!! Wish you a creative and happy November. xo Anita

Hi Tracey. If memory serves me correctly, you have had book rings on top, right? Hey, bigger rings or divide into two journals and be done with it. What's inside is the treasure. I remember it looked cool with the rings. And this page is amazing with the embroidery, wow. Your inked trees also came out great. Love the page, xoxo
