Creative Artiste ~ May Anything Mixed Media Goes #104

 Hello Creatives

our theme is always *Anything Mixed Media Goes*

This month I share a simple Journal page, creating texture
by embossing the page using an embossing folder layered with
metallic paints inspired by nature, overlaying with embossing
powders which I heated up to fix and add extra dimension...

Reminding me of an aerial view of the coast line
I added a Peacock Butterfly taken from a salvage napkin.
I tore, pasted, cut then embellished it's wings adding glossy
accents and then fashioned wire into little antenna feelers.

Finished with a quote that worked like poetry in motion:
*Stop to see the beauty along the way*

We hope to see your beautiful creations @ Creative Artiste
please come and share your Mixed Media Creations HERE

Creative Artiste May Anything Mixed Media Goes Challenge #104

Stay safe and Creative
Hugs Tracey xx

Your simple page is not that simple, but it really is beautiful Tracey. I love all the forms of embossing, and you are right, it does look like a coastline. Maybe it's some migrating butterfly's route. That butterfly is gorgeous also. I hope May has started off well for you. hugs-Erika

Hi Tracey, I really need to get back into challenges. I've had all on just keeping the blog going as we've been busy with stuff for my mum. I am loving the journal page and such a great sentiment too. Thank you so much for the lovely comment over at mine. We have only a week and half before it's the Stamping Ground anniversary again so been busy making ATCs too. Take care and sending hugs Angela xXx
