Hello everyone,
I was blessed to have some free time this week
so therapeutic to have a creative play day..
This journal background is made up of torn scraps, napkins
and a spotty glassine bag painted, dotted and doodled
all edged with machine stitch.
The centre piece I'd intended to be a book mark but the painted blues
of the stamped blue tit and coffee cup blended so well with the page.
All reminding me of the song Beautiful day by U2
about finding joy in the small things in life.
The focal bird brought to life the line
*And see the bird with a leaf in her mouth
After the flood all the colors came out*
Definitely a beautiful day.. Bird Song a cuppa and crafting..

I absolutely love how this turned out. The napkin background looks amazing and beautiful images as the focal point. The lacy details and stitching finish it off so nicely!
