What a pleasure to be Guest Host
again at **Art Journal Journey**
Thank you to the team for having me.
My choice of journal theme for you this month is
In the UK Autumn is in full swing as nature prepares to slow down.
Giving us her final burst of colour, this of course may/will change
depending on whether you live in the Southern or Northern Hemisphere.
Use her colours to inspire your pages just as I was by this Autumnal
leaf napkin. Pasted upon layered scrap paper, book pages and lace awash
with watercolour extra napkin leaves are fussy cut and scrunched.
A machine stitched pocket with three little buttons display colours
like natures traffic lights and bare a worthy sentiment for the Season.
So I ask you to share what you see around you during October,
you may be surprised by what it presents if you take a closer look.

I loved the photo you shared for the front page at Art Journal Journey, but I really, really loved your step out photos. I love the lace, the three buttons and the extra leaves that you scrunched to add texture to the page. I look forward to seeing all the art you create this month, because you have certainly inspired me.

Gorgeous journal page. Can you image where i live its still green trees around. We have no winters, springs, autumns or summer. Its just hot days with rain or no rain.
Around Eastertime the Poui Trees breakout into pinks and yellow blossoms
covering the entire tree insteadvof leaves ☺

The napkin you used was gorgeous, with those wonderful autumnal colours. It looks even more beautiful with your layering, the lace is such a wonderful addition and I do love your traffic light buttons. You really do have a happy knack of combining bits and pieces so exquisitely!
