WoywW 626

 Hello everyone,

it's been sometime since I shared what's on my work desk,
@ the stamping ground. The past few weeks have been eventful
and i've not stepped foot in my crafty space since early April.

Suspended in time, feel free to look away but it is what it is...

I've been away caring for my Mother in Law after she collapsed
at home, found by my Hubby after being alerted by Neighbours.
She spent two weeks in hospital fighting an infection and umpteen
tests where they discovered a heart murmur amongst other things.

Not quite the woman she was when she returned from hospital
now lots of extra things put in place to make mobility easier.

No play time as I stayed to help rebuild her confidence
but I did manage to complete this whilst MIL minding,

and started a new one sat in the conservatory
listening to bird song whilst MIL had a little nap..

Can I say Thank you so much for the emails
I think I've replied to you all now 😊

Sorry I missed the 12th year WoywW celebrations
I hope you all had a good one, i'm sure you did.

I know not everyone visits/comments but i'll be
round to see what you've been up too asap.

Take care & be safe
Tracey xx

Oh dear, I do hope your MIL is well on the way to recovery now. With your tender care she surely must be. What a lovely way to spend your time whilst sitting with her, I had no idea you did embroidery as well as the beautiful art you do. Both pieces are gorgeous.
I hope it is not too long before we get to see your wonderful artwork again and wish your MIL all the very best.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

Thank you Neet, it's been a worrying few weeks but I think progress is being made. The embroidery has kept my brain active and taken my mind off the difficulties faced. Will be good to get back to my desk eventually x

It’s lovely to see you Tracy, I just knew that you were away being caring. So sorry for your Ma In Law, rebuilding confidence is a long job I’ve discovered, especially as they seem so much more frail after an incident like this. Your embroidery skills are as marvellous as your paper skills, what beautiful pieces. Bet they were relaxing.

Hi Tracey, thanks for popping over 😃 oh and that’s one stunning, yes, truly beautiful embroidery, the first one and another on the make. Do love the effect of stitching on first piece. Well done.
Pray MLiL settle into better health now she’s home and you might rediscover your crafty space!

Been there done that and it's stress you don't even realize so take time for YOU also. ATC's were all "Happy Mail" and brightening of a day. But our weather turning in to Sunshine and Warmth have been the best medicine for me. WOW a new horizon busrt here. Wishing you the same Best wishes

I hope your MIL is on the mend and feeling better, it's always scary when that kind of thing happens. Your embroidery is beautiful plus the bonus of being a portable craft you can do anywhere! Your desk looks OK to me, very colourful and organised. Elle #27, EOTC

Hi Tracey , I have to be honest I've been out Lol! We have a friend who is going into hospital soon and our little group of retired teachers just wanted to wish her all the best so we sat and had coffee but I'm back now. Sounds like you and I have been occupied with similar family commitments as I've been busy with my mum. Loving the embroidery, so pretty. Wishing you a very happy woyww and a lovely week too. Hi Tracey, you are so lovely looking after your mother in law. I hope she is more able to do things now, it feels awful depending on people sometimes. My friend is in a nursing home and is desperate to return home. Happy WOYWW Angela #15

Hi Tracey! Thank you for the visit. Continued prayers for your mother in law. Falls as we get older can be so troublesome. More frustrating at not being able to do as we've always done more than anything, I think. Beautiful needlework pieces. I need to make more time to pick up a needle. Thanks for sharing. Hugs & Creative Blessings! Kelly #26
