WOYWW 612

 Hello everyone

This woodware stamp has been a good companion this year,
a nice big image to test out old pens, pencils and watercolour,
much more constructive than scribbles on paper and with a little
extra outlining it really sets those sweet gnomes off a treat...

At this rate I can see everyone I know receiving one 😁
and as both my Boys have Birthdays 2 weeks apart,
I think they will raise a smile on their special day..

Had a good clean up of this desk when I got home yesterday,
scraping off paint splodges and splatter after a messy weekend.
Don't you just hate it when your creative area is mess free
and then an idea comes to mind just before bedtime..??

Making use of some twisted wire and bits and bobs found
at the bottom of a bag full of over tipped what nots..
Got to make good of every scrap!!

That's what's on my workdesk.

Look forward to seeing what's on yours.

Stay safe & creative
Tracey xx

Oh, my goodness! I want that stamp! All of a sudden, last year, I fell in love with Gnomes. I never liked Gnomes before, go figure!

Good luck! It appears that you are about to do some serious creating. I can't wait to see what you do with your bits and bobs!

I love that gnome. Y mate Bridget knit 100s of the little guys for charity fundraising and I have a few myself. They are so stinkin’ cute. And I have Aton of beady stuff as well, for making stitch markers, again, for knitting. We Woywwers are a multi crafty lot for sure.

Happy day

That is a fabulous gnome stamp Tracey! At least your desk was tidy by hte time the brainwave hit - you might have had to hold off until you got straight first. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #11

Wondering what you are making? Wire, beads .... it must be dimensional. I just hope we get to see it next week.
Those gnomes.
Well, what can one say about them, they are adorable. I love the little snail on the top of his head, the patches on his pants and hat and the way you have worked them will bring a smile to many recipients faces.
Thanks for sharing

Morning Tracey. Oh, I love that gnome. Despite not really having a face I reckon he looks to be a happy gnome!! So glad you have had such fun colouring and trying out all your old pens - as you say, a great way to see if they still work. Now have fun with your wire, pliers and beads!!
Take care. God bless.

The extra outlining really is a fab idea on the gnome, Tracey, looks marvellous. So was the clearing and scrubbing good for your soul? Or did you just set to and wish it was over almost immediately? I do understand the hit of an idea at just the wrong time though...I have learned from past experience that if it’s nearly bedtime, write it down and go to bed. The lighting, my eyesight and my head telling me it’s too late always mean that when I see the ‘project’ the next day, I’m disappointed! loving the look of the bead goodness, your bags of tip it are far more interesting than mine!

I’m not one for cutesy stuff at all (I detest the TH Crazy animals) but that gnome is lovely and your colouring is brilliant!! Everyone who gets that on a card can’t fail to be cheered up! Good sort out there, I’ve done a bit too!

What a fabulous stamp?! I love the variety in your colouring too - it's lovely to have something that you can use fine things like pens and pencils but that works well with watercolours too. I stupidly tried to use watercolours on a Johanna Basford art book the other day. I'm no painter either!! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #14

Hi Tracey your gnomes are so sweet. I bet everyone is going to love receiving these they can't help but make you smile. I can feel completely without a single idea all day then just as I should be going to bed it comes to me so you're not the only one Lol! Have a lovely week and happy woyww, Angela x19x

Super Gnome stamp, and coloured so well despite the trying out of old pens. I've just been scribbling on scraps of paper only today with some of my pens, but just ball points as I'm not a colourer. Thanks for the idea of popping some photos in my screen, Might just do that.
Happy WOYWW and thanks for the visit BJ#1

Cute stamp. What a good idea, colouring a stamped image rather than just scribbling on scrap paper to test out old pens etc. That floats my frugal boat!

Happy belated WOYWW,

HI Tracey, sorry I'm so late. Oh yes that gnome is very cute, and what a great idea to use them for testing pens and such, much more fun than random swatches and useable too. Have a lovely weekend. Annie C

I did a bit of "Spot the Difference" before I decide the two gnomes were from the same stamp. Different colouring does make a difference. They do make good happy Birthday cards.
I love seeing other workdesks and am admiring your organised pens on their sides and that looks like a nice cup of tea.
