Totally Tracey, perfect for Shaz. And hand carved too, argh, you have the patience of a saint! Good to see you’ve had time to be at your desk with a hot drink. Love a footed cup that thinks it might be a mug!

Just the right words, she was a free spirit, now free of a painful body. Thanks for sharing

A hand-carved butterfly is perfect to call Shaz to mind - as if we need any help with that on a WOYWW day. And while we all miss her, terribly, that she is now free from that horrible disease is something to hold on to.

Just popping back after your comment on my blog - bizarrely enough, we always managed to leapfrog Download with Doug n'Shaz - whenever we went, they didn't, and when they were there, we weren't! We were supposed to be going last year but that all got pushed to one side with the pandemic and I'm willing to bet that there will be no Download this year either... boo hiss...

Hi Tracey, lovely butterfly, and great card. I think Shaz was one of the first to welcome me too! Thanks for stopping by my blog - my crafty space has certainly filled up since Mr M remodelled it - at the time someone said my crafting supplies would expand to fill the space. How true that was! Yes, it is a lovely space to work, especially my side desk which overlooks our garden, and I can watch the crazy squirrels having fun! Take care, Heather xx #19

A short and sweet tribute to our lovely Shaz, Tracey, and accompanied by such a beautiful butterfly which she would have adored - it brought fresh tears to my eyes. She is going to be so missed - our WOYWW family is no longer complete without her.

Thank you for your visit, and I'm glad you liked my Shaz-style hair! Everybody commented on it throughout my cancer year, and I managed to keep redoing it, fitting it in between the bad aftermath of each treatment. I used to joke with people that it was a side effect of the chemo I was on, and if they asked what it was I used to say, "believe me you don't want to know haha!" It was one of those little things that helped me keep going, and if it made other people happy and gave them something to smile about, I was happy too.

We've always done the Valentine card thing and these days my hubby always makes me one too, rather than buying one. When I was in hospital one time, he did buy one, and it was enormous and totally over the top - everybody thought it was brilliant and came to have a look! It came with a heart-shaped box of chocolates which I wasn't allowed to eat for a several weeks!

The kitties are still major lap addicts, despite it getting a bit warmer. I am typing this with great difficulty, constantly having to go back to correct mistakes, because the laptop is on the arm of the settee and I'm all sideways - my legs are both fully occupied with 2 slumbering little bodies that I couldn't possibly disturb!

Have a good week.
