Art Journal Journey ~ The meaning of.. Christmas

Hello Creative Friends.

I know Christmas starts on the eve for many of you
so let me begin by wishing you Greetings of the Season...

As Guest Host @ Art Journal Journey here's a journal page
to share the love I have for those rich colours of the season.

Upon a collage page there's a hand drawn and painted poinsettia,
surrounded by die cut sprigs, with it's holly leaves and berries
I finished with dots, dabs and snow white gesso splashes...

*The meaning of..* Christmas: my gift to you

Christmas has a different meaning for us all, with gift giving and
symbol of faith. The coming together of friends and family or just
a time to wind down during the holiday before a new year begins.

A time for reflection and to remember past loved ones,
it's certainly a different Christmas for us all this year.

Wishing everyone a safe
and happy holiday.

Creative wishes
Tracey xx

Hi Tracey, back home again and loving your collage page. Hope you've had a nice day. Maisie and Stan say thank you for your visit today, they said that they weren't sure what it was all about or what those silly hats were that they were forced to wear but there was lots of interesting things going on and lovely smells too. Take care and enjoy the rest of the holiday, Angela xXx

Apologies for my lateness, despite a very quiet Christmas I have been staying off my computer... I hope that you had a lovely Christmas too.

The poinsettia you drew is gorgeous and it looks wonderful surrounded by the beautiful greenery. I just love your page and thank you for your beautiful card, I love that too!

Keep safe and well. Hugs, Anne xx

This is such a beauty Tracey, I love your hand drawn poinsettia! Christmas certainly was different wasn't it, but the up-side of having such a small family was that we were all still able to get together if only for a little while (and in the cold with all those windows open brrrrr) Here's wishing you a very happy and healthy 2021, Sue xx
