Whats on my Wednesday work desk #584

 Hello everyone,

It's been a month since I last shared What's on my Wednesday Workdesk
@ Julia's stamping ground and with the recent heat wave there's nada
creativity in the cool craft corner or the upstairs crafty sauna...
it's just too darn hot!!!

Thanks to feedback I took advice from those lovely comments left
about the piece below and had a crafty Sunday afternoon in the
garden pasting it onto a plywood tray adding extras to fill any
gaps. It does look pleasing framed even if I say so myself..

So with nothing on my desk I can share here's some unseen July makes.
A needle book I made for my Daughter similar to the one on the right
blogged earlier this year as one of my Paperbabe Stamps DT makes.

Needle and thread is a lifeline you'll need it somewhere in life..

A patchwork heart another little something for my sweet Daughter
made with scrap material once used to make cushions for her bedroom.
Filled with dried garden lavender, she now has a little piece of home
to take in the aroma when those homesick moments come to visit ...

and here's a close up of Frida just because she's *AWESOME!!*

A change in routine means no free time on Wednesdays to
share my desk and get around to visit you all so it maybe
a monthly desk share from me until further notice...

Look forward to seeing whats on yours.

Stay Safe
Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Oh Tracey, what a pleasure it was to see your name up there today. I so love seeing your artwork and today was a real feast.
I love that seahorse panel - what a beautiful piece that is, you must be so chuffed with it. The next treat was to see your girl faces, you know how much I love your faces, you create them so beautifully.
A lovely thought, the next piece, the heart. How lovely for your daughter to have something like that to take away with her, and it is just the perfect size for her to hold and squeeze when she feels the need for a bit of 'home' - and lavender as well. Then we come to Frida, hasn't she turned out just beautiful! I have not even stamped mine once since I got her but now i have seen yours I will be doing. I am also going to try my hand at painting a face on a canvas bag that someone gave me a while ago.
Well, if it is only to be monthly so be it, you will be missed, but so welcome when you pop along.
Take care, stay safe and well and keep on crafting.
Hugs, Neet 8 xx

That wall panel is really lovely, no wonder you're thrilled with it - looks great hanging on the wall! And the patchwork heart is lovely, you've really got that random fabric down to a fine art, it's something I struggle with tbh - I love the look, just can't do it. I think I must be a neat freak, lol!!

Hi Tracey, the MM piece is fabulous, so much detail and gorgeous colours. The heart for your daughter is such a lovely idea, and the perfect size to take around with her, it's a beautiful piece. Feeling much better, but still doing no crafting, just way too hot for me. Stay safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #4 X

I hope she doesn't get too home sick though. I'm hoping this is the last day of the heatwave, fingers crossed! Enjoy your week! xx zsuzsa #19

It’s great to see you Tracy, once a month or once a week or when you can! My word, you’re on the same wavelength as me...I’ve used scraps from daughters duvet and curtains to ale little things that she needs. Or that I think she needs. It’s been ages but I’m ratty sure she would now admit to the usefulness of a sewing kit! Also, its a little bit of your heart to go with her and its ME that benefits from knowing that! The seahorse looks gorgeouser, it definitely needed to be hanged!! Keep well gal, hope your new routine isn’t exhausting.

Tracey you always surprise and delight me. First, how the heck do you stay so organized? Mr. M. says I have organized chaos. LOL It is wonderful to see this piece hanging on the wall. It is gorgeous. All of your art is fresh and bold and exciting.

Frida does look amazing and you have coloured her to perfection. This is such a lovely post! Keep safe and well. Hugs, Anne xxx

Thanks for your comments on my page - The only thing I can do in this lockdown is keep on crafting! Today I spent most of the day producing some journal pages...

Thanks for your visit, Tracey - I suppose one can saturate the market a bit with needle books lol! You could make them for charity, though, or sell them. Glad the face shield raised a smile! I don't care if I make people laugh at me - everybody seems to have got so grim these days and a sense of humour seems to be departing as fast as free speech... I agree that masks can be very unhealthy - all that moist air right over your mouth and nose, trapping who knows what. I think they are a terrible idea, and not being able to see people's faces and expressions is very isolating and bad for our normal human relations - bad enough having to social distance and not be able to touch or hug, and then to be deprived of smiles as well! This whole scenario is resulting in a lot of psychological problems for people.

So glad you liked my red outfit! I'll probably model another Romanian blouse next week.

Wow, so many amazing creations! It looks like you've been busy and I'm loving all the detail you create in your makes - stunning 😀. The fabrics you use added such lovely textures to the canvas, the glittery finish around your beautiful ladies really draws the eye into the design, the heart pieces and lace are so pretty and little Frida is fabulous too! I hope Freya is much better and fully recovered 🐾. I bet she is enjoying her haircut in the heat we've been having of late too! Take care and happy weekend! Hugs, Jo x
