From this day forward..

 Happy Sunday creative friends,

Hope you are all keeping safe and well?

I'm sharing a little bit of love and romance
in the form of a journal page created using oddments
and scraps pasted to a page rather than throwing away
as today is my Wedding Anniversary,,

Saved from a magazine you could read many things
into this lovely ladies pensive thoughts.

The tag was created using rice paper although a separate image
from the lady above I thought the resemblance of the two was
uncanny and reminds me of a scene from the big silver screen..

words some may think quite slushy, it's how I felt
back then and still do today having found my soulmate..

Three little tags with various strings all things I've been working with
this past month including embroidery floss, lace (of course) and elastic
for face coverings which have sadly become a staple stash resource.

Tucked neatly into the tag pocket although we don't make a fuss after 27 years
those little date reminders may find their way under hubbies dinner plate or
just tied to the handle of his morning cuppa... got to keep him on his toes 😁

Wishing you all a lovely day,
stay safe & creative
Tracey xx

I don't think it is slushy at all, I think it is beautiful and such a lovely way to celebrate your anniversary. I love how the little tags fit in the pocket and the beautiful flower that goes across the pages. You have reminded me that I have not left a little love token since the start of lockdown, I must rectify that soon!

I hope you have had a wonderful anniversary and I wish you both all the best for the coming year. Stay safe and well my friend. Hugs, Anne xxx

I so hope you had a lovely and romantic wedding anniversary Tracey?...Sending love and hugs x.
What a romantic project and yes it is reminiscent of the silver screen. Gorgeous images, soft beautiful colours and a fabulous tag pocket. Nope.... I don't think the sentiment is slushy as I can so relate to it .....x

Congratulations on your Wedding Anniversary - love the slushiness. If you can't be slushy at a time like this when can you be?
Oh Tracey, I don't know what to say about this double spread. It is so beautiful. It is so romantic. The colours are so subtle. The images are just perfect.
I love the pocket and yes, it does remind me of the way Silver Screen kisses used to be when you watched old films, and the way you have put those little tags in is just beautiful. Love the big flower meandering across the two pages, joining them together as you were joined 27 years ago in matrimony. (see, you have me all soppy now)
Tracey, this deserves displaying somewhere so that lots of folks see it. it is a true work of art and just simply beautiful.
Hugs, Neet xx
ps must have taken ages, so much work but oh so worth it. Scrolling up to look again.

Hi Tracey, I hope I'm not too late for you to see this comment. I'm trying to play catch up after my internet was offline for nine days. Happy belated anniversary. 27 years is a great accomplishment. So is this incredibly beautiful journal spread you created. It was so romantic, so intimate. You handled the colors and composition so well, too. Those tags were amazing. I loved how you used different strings for the tags. This is perfect, along with the great pocket, for Alison's theme at Art Journal Journey, dear.
