Sacred Sunday

Hello everyone,

an impromptu post from me this evening having sheltered
from the storms today, I hope friends in the UK are safe
it's been fierce in so many areas.

So huddled indoors, lost in the moment there was so much thrown
at this tag. Using stencils, pastes, flicked and dripped paint
and a rich rusty red heart as the focal, it shows off that super
thin heart rhythm taken from Tim Holtz Heartbeat die..

Unconvinced after lunch that this was finished
there just seemed to be something missing..?

some found cogs and gears should fix it..

now that's kick started that heart.. I'm happy now 😊

The poor light today really doesn't show this tags true colours
but it was good to have a much needed play day and share the love.

Take care everyone & stay safe.

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Wow what an amazing and textural tag Tracey. The depth of colour looks fabulous and the heart, along with the thin line of the heartbeat is so perfect x. A fun idea to use the gears to kickstart the heart. I am loving this and so glad you found time to be creative and have a play day....x.

Oh Tracey, I absolutely LOVE this. I just want to know how you made the heart beat. It is wonderful, as is the entire tag. Most impressive, dear.

Gorgeous tag Tracey, so unusual, I love it with the fab texture. It's still windy and stormy here, but the worst part of the storm seem to have passed on, but we are still advised to stay home today. Hugs, Valerie

This is a cracker, Tracey and so different from your usual creations. Love the rust and how you managed to get a similar effect all over. The cogs do indeed complete your tag but that heart has to be centre stage - I love metal! The texture is amazing - love the beads. This took me (in my mind - during the journey I just returned from after peeping at this) to a music video I love of a sculptor creating a heart...real hearts are not pretty pink and red things but not so pretty machines working hard to keep us alive! Your piece illustrates this so well.
Thank you for sharing it with us at TIOT. So glad you managed to find some playtime. Hope your 'sorting out' inspires you some more...I know mine is inspiring me ;-)

A fabulous rusty tag Tracey, loving the wonderful textures.
There's nothing better than a play day when the weather is bad outside and you really put yours to good use.
Thanks for sharing this at Try it on Tuesday.

Well now you mention it...! No really, how did you KNOW it wasn’t finished. How clever you are. Best use so far of that rhythm die too, if you ask me.

Beautifully done, Tracey! I just love everything about it! How wonderful you were able to use that heartbeat die (something I thought I could do without, but now questioning my thoughts.)Adding the cogs/gears was a brilliant move. I hope you are safe from the wicked weather! Sending hugs!
