What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday 500

Happy 2019 Creative Friends..
What a way to start off the blogging New Year.

Making it's 500 appearance let's welcome WOYWW 500
What a mammoth achievement congrats to Julia the leader of the pack
over at the stamping ground and all those loyal Woyww(ers).

I wish I could say I have been here from the beginning but sadly not but I've enjoyed
my time sharing my desks over the past eight months with like minded Crafter's.

Today's desk is full of things i've been using whilst sat in front of the TV.
Guests over during New Year, one of which is still here limits crafting.

There's a handful of those Dorset buttons made up from last week, very
addictive craft and ideal for some up coming projects in the pipeline.

It's business as usual today with care duties, Hubby's first Cardio rehab and
administering the Dog's medication after a very expensive visit to the vet!!
So i'll be round to visit after I scrape the ice off the car it's frosty out there...

Take Care everyone & Happy New Year!!

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Happy New Year Helen. Thanks for letting me know about the link had problems posting this morning. Enjoy your first day back, it always feels mean starting back so early doesn't it..

Why are vets always so expensive? I was always blown away by their bills! Your workplace always looks so tidy, mine is in chaos and badly needs organizing. Hope this year will be an easier one for you, no more nasty surprises health or otherwise. Hugs, Valerie

I found my way here via last week's link as I'm afraid that yours this week takes us back to Julia. Sorry to hear about the vet visit. Hope all is well and that the ice isn't too bad. Happy New Year and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #12

Happy New Year Tracey - it doesn't matter how late/early you joined, you're here now and we enjoy seeing your desk every week!! Bad luck about the vet, there's no such thing as a cheap vet's bill huh?!

Morning Tracey. I wish you a very happy and healthy new year. I trust you have had a good Christmas - and that hubby has kept well. Golly, Dorset buttons - haven't made any of those for nearly 20 years - but you have reminded me of how much I enjoyed making them... must see what I can do, and how I could use them - as you say, good for when watching the TV.
Take care. God bless.

As the New Year approaches us with hopes anew, here is to wishing you and your family a wonderful year ahead.

I am in the same boat with the vet here...
Therapy syringes, pills, ultrasound scans, two surgeries last year...etc etc.
We will make it!
That's for sure!

Hi Tracey - hope the doggie's doing well on his medication - as well as hubby with his cardio rehab, of course! Love the collection of art supplies on your desk - one of them looks like a W&N pot of gesso, which is the one I use as well. I usually get a 1 litre pot and it lasts me all year! Best wishes for the New Year! zsuzsa #19

Dear Tracey , so your husband starts the training I guess from your words ? I hope it will be both fun and naturally very good for him, so he can soon feel more strength !!
And your poor dogs, also visiting the doctor , - I hope the medication helps , so you don`t have to see the vet again !!!
Your buttons looks wonderful, my friend.
Biggest Hugs and a Happy New Year to you , - <3 xoxoxoxo

Hello Tracey

Happy New Year and Happy 500th WOYWW - such an achievement on Julia's part.

I have brushos out on the table - no further than that. I have been trying to get back into crafting mode today.
Thank you for the visit on Boxing Day - I had intended visiting everyone but once family arrived that was it. I've not done a lot since - until today. Hope all goes well for your husband and your dog. Take care. Anne x #18

Hi Tracey, Happy New Year and happy 500th WOYWW. I'm a relative newbie too, about 18 months for me! Hope hubby's Cardio Rehab goes well. I had 6 weeks of it last year - best thing I did. Ouch to the vet bill! I had a garage bill on Christmas Eve - not the best time of year for big bills. Have a lovely week Heather x #33

I cannot believe I have only known you for 8 months. Seems like you have been on here as long as I have. So glad you joined in and are staying with it.
Not a clue what a Dorset button is - going to look it up afterwards unless I can see it on your previous post.
Hope DH's rehab goes well, he must stick at it and do all he is told and carry on when it is over if they encourage him to do so. Wish I had carried on with my back exercises, now regretting that I didn't so please encourage him to keep going. Oh dear, what a start to the new year - vets bills - but you know what Tracey, they are worth it. I do so wish I had a little dog or cat as they give unconditional love. I miss the welcome I used to get when I had been out of the house and the nights we sat cuddled on the settee. Ah well, must count my blessings, I have Chas and I couldn't have a better partner if I tried.
Have a wonderful year and keep crafting.
Hugs, Neet 4 xxx

Better late than never, I have corrected the link. Now, HYN Miss Tracey, so glad you’re here at WOYWW and it doesn’t matter to this community if you’ve been here for 500 weeks or 5, whether you dip in and out or stay for a weekly rummage, so your 8 months is showing signs of longevity! am pleased to hear the Mr Hotchpotch’s rehab has come aro7nd, and wish you both luck with that; he may be do8ng it, but you’ll have it on your mind for sure! Horrible sorry that the hound is poorly too, and ouch to the bill at this point of a holiday, yow.

I remember well, ad fondly, the few years where I joined in WOYWW, I made so many lasting friendships. Hard to believe you have been there 8 months now, time really does fly Tracey!! It is so nice to see some of the regulars here each week too!

The Dorset buttons do look very interesting, I am looking forward to seeing what you create with them. So pleased to hear that your Mister is going for his first rehab but sorry to hear about the dog...and ouch to the bill.... Car scraping here too and it looks like it might last a few more days. Hugs, Anne xx

Hi Tracey
Judging by your closing comments I can see in the couple of months I've missed blogging, that a lot has happened and so I do really appreciate the lovely comments you left on my blog x
You mentioned about using up stash too - good luck with that! I swear that some 'things' multiply when I am not looking. I'd like to make some papers beads to use lots of patterend papers up - but wondering how many beads are lurking in my stack of 12x12 paper almost 2 feet high ha ha
Wishing you and your family very best wishes for a happy and especially, healthy New Year ... Gill xx
