WOYWW #497

Happy WOYWW #497 Everyone..

That midweek creative meet up where we share our work desk.
Thanks to our host Julia over at the stamping ground who rounds
us up every Wednesday and keeps us in line.

This morning my desk is full of handmades ready to pack and wrap, Cards,
necklaces and Christmas Tree ornaments mostly hidden as they are gifts.

Found this wee note in a mug from my Daughter ..
I'm guessing by the addition of  *Love you* it's probably broken haa haa!!
and i'm left wondering if she is asking for glasses this Christmas ??
May book her an eye test.. i'd hate her to be disappointed..

*Update on Hubby.. Coronary Angioplasty went well and the Surgeon was happy with the
pressure wire tests so decided against another stent. The first stent appears to be doing
it's job along with the medication.. so at last we can look forward to Christmas..

Think I need to catch up on some sleep first... Sooo sleepy.

I'll be round to visit asap, I've lots of catch up as i've been awol for a few days.

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

So glad hubby is on the right side for Christmas. Hope you have a wonderful family time.
Love the note from your DD - made me smile a lot at this early hour.
Love your desk - so Christmassy and I want an elf on the shelf - he is adorable - and I love his outfit!
Need to get back in my craftroom but cannot see it happening this side of New Year. Need to get the house back to some normality.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

Morning Tracey. I'm so glad hubby is recovering well. yes, get some sleep - I know only too well how much our sleep is disrupted when we care for another!! The news about hubby means you can enjoy Christmas together, relaxed and resting. Hope you manage to get that eye test for your daughter :-)
Take care. God bless.

I'm not surprised you're sleepy - you don't realise how much tension you have in your body until you allow yourself to stop then BAM. I remember it well. So glad to hear your hubby is doing well, great news for Christmas. Your desk is looking so busy and your daughter's note made me smile!

Hi Tracey, love your 13 more sleeps!!!
Cool plus.
Would have it on my desk if had one. Excellent news on dear hubby ever so glad it all went well, dad’s stent kept him going for decades and that was years ago now so am sure hubby’s more up to date one will be a real blessing. Praying for a restful lead up to Christmas now. I’ve no decs out yet on next few days agenda 😊

What a cute little elf on your desk - the mug doesn't look broken - I bet your daughter owned up because she would have felt guilty if you got scolded in case it was cracked. I once broke my mother's manual sewing machine (snapped the cable in it) but was too afraid to tell her - I was only about 10 years old - instead I somehow put it back together again and it was working fine but every time she used it I felt so nervous that it might snap and injure her and it would have been my fault. I don't think I've ever told her to this day and she's still using that machine. I must have fixed it real well LOL! Still, it would have been better to come clean and save all the worry and guilt! Good news about your husband - bet you're relieved - and just in time for Christmas! Hope you can catch up on sleep soon! zsuzsa #14

Hi tracey, that is such good news about your Hubby. Kind of your daughter to warn you- I've had mugs before look fine after being dropped, then start leaking from a crack when filled. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz X#5

Looks like a busy, productive desk, and it sounds as though you're almost there with the Christmas prep despite all that's been going on. So pleased to hear the news about your husband - must be such a relief. (And what's a mug in the face of all that?!)

Gosh, what a relief about your man, no wonder you need to catch up on some sleep, you’ve been holding it altogether for so long. The mug thing made me laugh...I can hear my gal confessing to something and in the pause while I think of what to say, she always says ‘love you mumma’ - and then what can you do!!! It’s a pretty mug. I find that mug accidents always claim the nice ones...the horrid advertising freebies that Mr Dunnit gets at work seem indestructible. Although of course, I’ve banned them to the workshop anyway! Happy to see that the Elf is lounging about, can’t wait for the holidays to start so I can match him!!

Glad to hear the good news about your hubby's heart, Tracey. That is a huge relief for you both. Lol at your daughter's note! Thank you for your visit and sorry for the delay in replying. This week is turning out a bit quieter than last, thank goodness, and I've had to rest and get over my exhaustion. Ruby is still grounded because my hubby hasn't yet managed to sort the escape route - busyness and bad weather. Thank you for your good wishes re my surgeon's appointment - an interesting experience that I have now blogged about.

Happy belated WOYWW,
