Paperbabe Stamps ~ #89 Picture Inspiration

Hello Creative Friends,
Welcome to Winter..

It's time for the last Paperbabe Stamps challenge of 2018.
With the busy festive season upon us we have given you a picture  inspiration
... a Wintery scene that some of you may have already witnessed this year.

We'd love you to be inspired by what you see and share it with us over HERE..
There's a prize for one lucky creative who cares to share their creativity.

Here's my take on the challenge and some very quick How to Do's..

I love those rich reds within the picture above and I knew this festive napkin
would help create my journal background. Glued onto an A3 page I used the
from Paperbabe Stamps to create my Santa Baby image.

Stamping her features using the Female Face Stamps don't do what I did and shake
a full pot of gesso before opening it, lucky for me I was able to salvage that splodge
and work it into my page using the left over backing from the napkin.

Those double gates really remind me of the entrance to those large park grounds.

Not happy with the first Winter outfit I sketched in another, blocked out any
unwanted image using white gesso and then lost myself within the painting.

Fibre paste added dimension to the pom pom and hat trim
with speckles of white posca pen creating a sprinkle of snow time.

Completing my picture inspiration journal page and sent with
"Good will and Seasons Greeting to one and all."

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and
enjoy the magic of the season.

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Love your gorgeous winter girl Tracey, she's well wrapped up for winter. Red is such a warming colour. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Today I shook a tub of cream but had forgotten that it had already been opened. Cream hair rinse is surely healthy! The kitchen is now clean again, too! Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie

Oh Tracey, I love this. It is beautiful. When I saw the first couple of photos, I had NO idea where you were going with that entry. The end result was incredible. If I had guessed where you were headed and where you ended up, I would have been so far wrong. That's why I love your step out photos. Thanks, too, for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey. I love your darling girl and the phone box and bicycle in the back ground.

Oh Tracey, she is just so very beautiful and the napkin background is such a wonderful choice to show her off perfectly. The fibre paste creates lovely texture and dimension too. Well you know how much I admire your painting Tracey and this one is no exception. I love all the texure you've created and the allover Wintery feel. This is super clever Tracey and masterfully put together! Each further step is so creative! It is a great inspiration photo, but what you did with it takes it to a whole other level! Brilliant!

(I have probably missed quite a few of your posts, but I have decided I will only post on Fridays and visit on Sundays from now on, as, though I love seeing all the work that people create, I find blogger to be a too time consuming platform these days, sorry about that, I hope you understand)….
Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for a creative and hopefully healthy 2019!
