#WOYWW 496

Hello Creative Friends.

It's time to share whats on my Wednesday work desk and take a gander
at others who care to share over at the stamping ground as it's WOYWW 496

Sorry I didn't make it last week, so many commitments, Hospital & Doctors
appointments doesn't leave much online time but i'm here today.

I've had to admit defeat regarding my handmade Christmas Cards, there's not enough
hours in the day with everything else going on but I have managed to find a box of left
overs from last year, old DT Christmas cards which may fill the handmade hole and
some Charity Cards which I may bling up a little.

I'm feeling a bit deflated about it to be honest but I guess i'm only human.

On the upside all my overseas cards have now been posted and apart from the one
on it's way to Canada i'm confident they will all arrive in good time for Christmas.

*Update on Hubby... his cancelled op has now been reappointed to the 10th December
so lets all keep our fingers crossed that one doesn't get cancelled too..*

A free day for me today so I'll be round to visit asap
in between writing the rest of those Christmas Cards.

Take care everyone & Thanks for hosting Julia.

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

You are certainly busy creating such lovely Christmas cards! It's a great feeling to have the overseas cards in the mail! I have achieved the same!
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment on my angels! They are such a joy to create!
Happy Christmas to you!

Good news about the op, let's hope it goes ahead then in time for Christmas. Don't even worry about not doing all handmade cards, you've had way more important things to cope with...and no one will care if you send them a shop bought card this year.

So pleased that hubby has a new date, hopefully it will go ahead and he may feel a lot better by Christmas, I will keep everything crossed for you.

I don't have even half as much going on in my life but I don't seem to have found time to make Christmas cards this year, I think losing a few friends and a family member have dampened (quite rightly) the spirit so I think bought cards and a donation to charity might be the way to go this year for us. It just makes good sense! Hugs, Anne xx

Morning Tracey. Yes, I do trust your hubby's op goes ahead on 10th - postponed ops are horrid - you get all geared up... then feel so deflated. Well done on finding all those Christmas cards - no need to be stressed out - if we can't make them all, well... we just can't. There's only 24 hours in each day.
Take care. God bless.

Hello dear friend, your desk looks like mine, lol- and you surely have so much to do Tracey, I hope it does not stress you , and that you are able to relax your head in between. Tomorrow I`m going to see my daughter and grandchild, and will be away for some days. I am home again for the 10`th and will think of you and your hubby . I too hopefully will soon have a good result from my examinations. I will be in touch my friend. xoxoxoxo

Hi Tracey, we have to know when to accept the limitations, and not beat ourselves up over it. With everything going on, it's a stress you don't need, so just relax and do what you can manage easily, and let the rest go. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X

Oh Tracey, here am I moaning that I have no time because I am having a new bedroom done and you are there awaiting DH going in hospital for an operation. Makes me realise how my troubles are nothing and I should be joyous. Hope that everything goes alright with the operation on Monday, will be thinking of you both.
Love your elf on the shelf and the owl too. Glad you found some cards you can use (I did too remember).
Hugs, Neet xx

Hi Tracey I'm sat here with everything crossed, hope it works Lol! Sounds like a good idea to use up those left-over cards which will make space for the new ones you will make next year. Have a great woyww and a lovely crafty week. Sending hugs, Angela x16x

I'm not surprised you've been feeling a bit deflated with all that you've had going on recently - I hope your hubby's op goes ahead this time, it's stressful enough having to have it done without having to worry if it's going to be cancelled again. Thinking of you and fingers crossed for the 10th,

Hi Tracey, fingers crossed hubby's ok goes ahead on Monday, and I do hope it all goes well. I fully understand the feeling deflated, it's such a difficult time to get your head around all that has happened, and wait for the surgery to take place, and try and organise for Christmas! As others have said, take your time, do what you can, and look after yourself. Nothing wrong with charity or shop bought cards, everyone understands what a difficult time you are going through. Thanks for the visit earlier, I will indeed enjoy my weekend. Santa Express is one of my favourite bits of Christmas. Have a lovely week Heather x #14

So lucky that you have some cards lying around. It's a good idea to jazz up some ready made ones as well. I always just buy mine and I'm not ashamed to admit it LOL. But who knows maybe this year I might end up making one or two (since I've got some Christmas dies) but I'll probably just end up re-purposing them. So sorry to hear about the cancelled operation - that must be so upsetting when you're already going through the stress of anticipation. Hope all goes well the second time around! Keep us posted! zsuzsa #6

I do hope the operation will happen and all will go well... never mind cards, there are bigger and more important things than making and posting cards, no-one will blame you when you don't send cards... Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday, big hug from Holland. Marit #21

I think that's our plight as crafters, we feel we have to handmake everything! For some it does add a lot of pressure at this time of year that we don't need. I only make cards for people who appreciate them, who would be disappointed if I didn't send them one, and to those who send us cards. So not that many! Good luck with the operation, and I agree with Marit, there are more important things sometimes than making and sending cards. Thanks for your kitty name suggestions, I will add them to the list! Thanks for your visit, have a great week, Lindart #26

Hello to you Tracey~ I am not familiar with the WOYWW, but the truth is, I'd be embarrassed to show! My desk is hollering "help!" lol. Looks like you have a busy, happy desk! And some cards tucked away that will come in very handy~ I'm glad that thru all your difficulties (Dr's, appt's, and the op . . . life!) you still have some time to visit Blogland and keep in touch. Thanks for the visit my way~ I appreciate you!
There have been several years in my crafting journey that 'other' things; had to take the place of making cards. Some years that's just the way it is. Wishing you a lighter load and the peace of Christmas during these days ahead. Be good to you~ Hugs, karen o (PS if I could visit just one place, it would be the UK! been in love with it since I was a little girl~)

Hello Tracey, thanks for popping by. Sorry I'm a little late. I managed some cards but may yet have to resort to buying some. I'm not going to beat myself up though. Take care. Anne x 19
