WOYWW #488

Hello creative Friends,

Like the domino's effect my family one by one have fallen with the Flu Virus.
It's been an exhausting two weeks with no option but to down those crafty tools and
take a break from blogging having no time or energy left at the end of each day..

Happy to report all is quiet on the flu front and it's good to be back today as it's time
to join in with WOYWW courtesy of Julia our host who will pull me back inline
and get my blogging and visits back on track over at the stamping ground.

Today's desk is full of WIPs along with my travel art case as I spent
the weekend with friends in Kent to give my support to their charity work for
Sarcoma UK and Nordoff Robbins.

I know they read my blog so may I take the opportunity to say in a world that can be so selfish I  am blessed to have fabulous friends, who dedicate their time and and talent
for the wellbeing of others even when struggling with their own.
*You are ALL AMAZING..!!*

Those few days away have been so uplifting and it sure does put that
*Me time* in perspective..

Look forward to catching up with everyone in between
finishing off some of those overdue WIP's

Creative Hugs...
Tracey xx

*I've missed you all*

Glad to hear you're on the mend Tracey. Your workspace is like an Aladdins cave!!.. I can see a couple if lush things. E.g... a little journal on top of your colourful case, and I just adore the doll (I think it was from your friend dorthe) sat on top like a Christmas tree angel. How lovely of you to support this charity, it would be interesting to hear more of this story tracey. Take care, big recovery hugs. Xx

Morning Tracey. Glad all is returning to normal as everyone recovers! What did I put in the pie? Well... I reckon it must have been the carrots that did it!:-) Have had a sneak peek at Nordoff Robbins - fantastic! What a lovely charity. As a musician I know the effect music can have on people who are struggling. Used to do a Christmas puppet show with friends and we went into around 30 schools each year - one of which was for children with special needs. I had to start the whole performance one year with a solo - The chaos in the room, the noise, stopped immediately I started singing - amazing effect. Well done to your friends! Yes, by the way, there WILL be chocolates inside the tree - if I ever get it finished - just seem to be running on catch-up at the moment, not getting ahead!!!
Take care. God bless.

Ah Tracey, am so glad to see you and hope that your ministrations and own recovery are totally on track. I popped over last week to see why you were missing but decided that 2 week was average and I shouldn’t pressure you till this week!! So glad you’re here and feeling better and uplifted by your amazing friends. Just what the Doc ordered huh, in so many senses. Your desk shot this morning looks as if it came straight from a magazine layout, it looks so lovely, must make you smile every time you’re in the kitchen and look up!!

Hi Tracey, I'm not risking it and we've already had our Flu jabs. I've had flu once and don't want it again as three days just disappeared without my knowledge and that is not good. Your desk looks lovely, the cupboards and shelving are so stylish. Have a lovely woyww, whatever you choose to do. Angela x13x

Hi Tracey.. so glad you are all on mend.. and now back to craft.
Thanksfor the lovely comment on my blog too. I'm glad to be home as there is simply no better place than here ... but oh how blessed was to be at the crop. Wonderful. I had touch of flu but had loads praying and great meds I dosed up on Andrographis and Echinacea with Vit c great combo. It was bit wheezy too so glad i had ventolin. Was fine by crop just first 2 weeks of trip. I actually forgot till read your post. I have flu jab every year but it only covers certain strains not all flu, just most severe ... but you prob know that

So glad you are all on the mend - these horrid viruses have been rife lately. I love your beautiful craft dresser and wonderfully organised storage on the walls - it all looks so inviting and easy to get at (which is always a problem I have with things stuck in the bottom of cupboards and drawers).
Hope you have a happy and healthier week,

So glad to see you are feeling better and the flu bug chose to move on. I am SO in love with your new work space. Do you stand to make your art like I do? I am in total awe of all the units you have and all the products you have put in them, too. No number, not playing, just dropping by to see how you are.

Your desk looks amazing, Tracey, and very organised! Sorry to hear everyone's been going down with flu. Thank you for your visit and I'm so glad you like my boxes. Our friend was so thrilled when she got hers yesterday. You could be right about the hot glue and metal - the metal probably conducts the heat away too quickly. I've had lots of useful suggestions and for now I'm just hoping the Pinflair will hold. Lily and Ruby are certainly enjoying the cuddles to keep them warm! Today was not a day for playing outside - very wet and stormy. I'll try and get both scarves finished soon to put you out of your misery lol! The peacock one is coming on very nicely and I'm thrilled with the colours.

Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #15

Hi Tracey, so sorry to hear you all have been suffering with flu so glad I had my jab a while ago. Hope you all start to feel really fit and well as I know it can leave you weak when it is over.
Sorry I am so late - had a mixed week, so thanks for commenting on my blog and for the lovely comment on my tribute. Wednesday was such a sad day as I spent time with a friend at the hospice - he died early this morning and I am so glad I got more time with him last nightNever hear of Sarcoma UK but will go to the link you provided and learn more. Glad you enjoyed being with your friends and benefitted from it too.
It's lovely sat here today seeing the sunlight dappling through the trees whilst I okay catch up.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx
