WOYWW #490

Hello everyone..

It's Wednesday.. that day in the week when we share WOYWW
and visit others thanks to Julia over at the Stamping ground..

Here's the secret I was hiding last WOYWW, a pile of cards that gradually got larger
over the week as a milestone Birthday was heading it's way for me last weekend
but those cards and pressie's remain unopened..

After my Husbands hospital appointments last woyww the rest of the week
became a bit of a blur as sadly in the early hours of Saturday morning
my Hubby was rushed to Hospital where he suffered a heart attack.
First response, Paramedics, Cardiologist
and the whole Cardio Team were fantastic.

I'm happy to say after a very worrying few days he's doing well after his surgery
and was aloud home yesterday with a bag full of reading material, medication
for life, under strict instructions to rest to aid his recovery...!

I've not really taken in what's happened, think I'm still in shock to be honest..

Take good care everyone, i'll catch up with everyone asap

Hugs Tracey xx

What a terrible thing to happen it must have been scary for you both. Just glad that he is now home as ~I always feel home is where the healing starts. Thank goodness for those marvellous people who helped. I am so thankful for the cardiology team where I live, they do a marvellous job - as do all people in the medical profession.
Not sure whether you have opened your cards and pressies but I hope that they helped make things seem much better for you - and Happy Birthday from me - and keep your chin up.
Sending gentle hugs to you both

Oh Tracey, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband but glad that he is back home. We were in a similar situation 14 years ago and everything is still fine. He has an appointment next week with Cardiology for a routine review. Look after yourself. Sarah #3

Oh Tracey, what a whirlwind of shock and worry. Lordy no wonder your big birthday remained unopened....that come come out of the box when you both need some cheer. For now, being together and quietly at home is enough. Am so relieved for you. Don’t be surprised by any emotions that creep up from behind, it’s just all delayed as you cope. Sleep, that helps. Sending huge hugs.

Hi Tracey, oh my, you must have been out of your mind with worry. So happy to hear that he's stable and back home. Echoing what Julia said- for you both- all sorts of emotions will appear over the next few weeks, as the shock really catches up with you both. And the sleep. Definitely. It's amazing how much tiredness gets you after these things. Sending love and lots of hugs to you both- and Happy Birthday too. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X

I am really sorry to hear your news and understand completely how you feel. 11 years ago, my husband discovered that he had problems and wishing two months was undergoing a quad bypass. He's been fine since then and is really well, so there really are bright prospects for your hubby. Don't be surprised if you get delayed reaction, I did after having to hold together for G, our sons and keep working.
Sending huge hugs to you both,

This must be such a difficult time for you, Tracy! I'm glad your hubby's ok and hope he'll be back on his feet in no time at all. This is something that could happen to anyone any time and frankly, it's best not to think about it, otherwise we'll all go crazy! Happy Birthday for the big milestone - I'm nearing that milestone myself - which again is something I'd rather not think about LOL! I hope you have a good week and hubby's getting stronger by the day. xx zsuzsa #20

You both are in my prayers and I am sending you virtual hugs, and best wishes for your special day. I always have a shoulder should you need it,just saying,my friend! xoxo

OMGosh, Tracey. What trauma you suffered on your birthday. I feel so sorry for you. I wish I could go there and give you a big hug and tell you how much people really care for you. At least now he is home, and is resting, although I am sure you are still quite numb. Makes my piddly excuse of being sick look weak. Please, please take care of YOU because you are the strong one, now. Hugs, dear Tracey.
