Another Summertime show of recent Alison Bomber stamps by
PaperArtsy.. The Hydrangea is one of my favourites and in
real time they lap up the sun even during a heatwave..
Stamped and embossed on a watercolour tag scrap I coloured with
watercolour and pencil stamping text to fill the bare background.
With a craft knife I carefully cut around random leaves to lift
and add dimension popping dots of glitter glue in each centre
as that's where the Hydrangea flower magic really happens
Co-ordinating buttons and lace embellish with a trio of machine
stitch colour edges it all.. simply lovely again 😊

This is really lovely Tracey. I also love hydrangeas. Mine are blooming beautifully too. I like your purple-pin k ones. You did a great job matching the real flowers to the Alison Bomber ones. I love Hydrangers and have a few in the garden but they are thirsty guys. Love the tag you made. Thanks for the visit to mine, I'm a bit late as we've been to a birthday party today. I quite like the show at Doncaster as there is a good variety of stalls but we also have quite a good one here in Lincoln now at the show ground which has become so popular that they had to move into a larger building. OH! This is just so very beautiful, so many lovely details, I have a number of hydrangeas in the garden, but sadly they are not doing well in the heat. Neither is much of the garden come to that. But your tag, reminds me of the bright and full lacecap hydrangea we have, although ours is blue. Love your work. x

Lovely tag, the paper tole technique really suits the stamp for a little bit of dimension. Great colouring and finishing touches, too!
