Creative Artiste ~ #122 Anything Mixed Media Goes/Optional Christmas

 Hello Creatives

December already 🎅
How fast did we get here this year..!!
with it I bring the last challenge of 2025 @ Creative Artiste

My Design Team Project came about making use of leftover
Christmas bits, card backgrounds and paint waste with a
meeting of two projects to embrace the season 🎄

This washi taped, paint scraped background reminded me of a snowy
scene on a cold Winters night, leftover from my handmade Christmas
cards there's stamped and embossed script, art yarn edging with
large snowflake buttons included into the mix.

This felt Robin I discovered @ Thimble wood created by the
super talented Michelle you will find her lovely kits HERE

One of many I've been making for loved ones each given a
different embellishment.. this one with a beaded belly and
jingle bell holly berries 😊

Displayed on the last page of my 2025 journal
it's a reminder of the year gone by and future ahead..

Pop over HERE and see what the Creative Artiste team have
designed to inspire you and please share your own creations @

Wishing you all the warmth and magic of the season
Take care of yourself and each other

Hugs Tracey xx

You are right about how fast 2025 has gone. I swear it was just last winter, wasn't it? Your pieces today are just amazing. I love that lovely winter scene, and when you add the little bird to it, it goes right over the top beautiful. The snow on your piece looks thick like snow, and I like how you used that branch for with your felt creation. I bet everyone will just love their gifts. I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful peaceful December too. Enjoy. hugs-Erika

Lest I forget to wish you a content and peaceful holiday season, I can now say I just did heehee. Hope it's lovely. You are so brave to put something so dimensional on a journal page but you kinda do it all the time. And so well. Beautiful leftover winter scene for your base. Yes, I believe it's a proven fact that our perceptions of time change as we age, from irritatingly slow to brazenly fast. I get eat up sometimes with WHY. I'd love to know it's something bigger than just having to spend more and more time grooming, peeing, pooing, sleeping and generally moving from point a to b, forgetting why, then remembering and having to go back. Just sayin', xoxo
