WoywW #631

 Hello everyone

tis desk sharing day at the stamping ground but I confess
there's been no creative play time for me this week 😞

Down times been filled with long nature trail walks
and a mission to rid my lawns of these mushrooms,
better to be safe than sorry with wee Freya around.

but a space lays in wait.. reserved for my next free play day.
There's a LifeBook lesson by Laly Mille that I really want to try..
Hopefully accompanied by a fresh cuppa, I mislaid that one Monday 😏

WoywW #631

So I'll share a couple of pages from my latest Junk Journal.
The Blue is a pocket full of unused ephemera and the pink from a
taster activity creating hues and shades using limited acrylics.

You'll find the Junk Journal HERE if you've time to take a peep..

That's a wrap from me this week.
Stay safe & creative everyone..

Hugs Tracey xx

What an adorable dog. Those mushrooms were everywhere this spring when we had so much rain.

Your junk journal pages are creative. I like the pocket. A great way to corral your excess ephemera. I wish I'd had time to watch all those tasters. Time was not on my side last month. I like that lesson, though. Wish I'd seen it. Happy WOYWW from #2.

Freya is certainly too cute to take risks with Tracey. Hope you find some time for more creative play soon. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #6

Freya is looking well stood there, thank goodness you are able to rid the grass of those mushrooms for her. Must be quite a worry.
Love the junk journal and the pocket - what a great idea.
Enjoy the rest of your week

Happy WOYWW. We get mushrooms growing in our fields, but they are safe to eat (although me and hubby don't like mushrooms, so they remain unpicked until birds get them). Loving the junk journal pages. Ali x #12

Good that you removed the mushrooms, some can really be harmful to pets. Love the peek into your junk journal, so interesting! Have a great day, take care, hugs to you and Freya! Valerie

Dawwww, Freya is rather gorgeous! I’d have de-fungussed the lawn too (don’t know if that’s a word but it ought to be!) Your junk journals are so clever, they look simple to do but I bet it’s a lot harder in practise. I liked the tones of the acrylics, bet that was fun, I’m impressed you didn’t end up with 40 shades of mud!

Jan these sorts of junk journals are very VERY easy, just waste papers, scraps and paint splodges all tied at the waste.. sounds like me at the weekend haa haaaa!!
I like that word de-fungussed, lets aim to make it in the dictionary :))

Ooh what lovely ephemera - and what a gorgeous little junk journal, thank you for link, it is totally delightful. There is something very appealing about a pile of beautiful papers waiting to be used - I hope you find some 'play' time this week. We also have to clear the lawns of fungi, fallen leaves and such like as the Guinea pigs go out on the lawn most days - I like to think most animals are sensible enough not to eat what's bad for them, but I'd never take that risk.
Hope you have a good week,
Diana xx#17

Hi Tracy, the journal is gorgeous and the pile of unused ephemera is beautiful and I'm sure you will find a good use for it. The new stamp you asked about was a January release and I got it from Stampers Grove. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x

Lovely to see Freya again - even if the mushrooms take centre stage! Look at her little face! Good idea to get rid of those mushrooms - you never know! Your junk journal is more junky than mine! I like the idea that you included the LB session in it and the uneven pages. Hope you have more time to play over the weekend! xx zsuzsa #22

I had a busy morning shortening 3 hems on a bridesmaid’s dress and then steaming it And since lunch I’ve been for my annual diabetic eye test (although it’s 18 months since my last thanks to Covid!) so I’m just catching up with a few blogs before the football starts.
What a gorgeous dog and your pages look lovely.

Hi Tracey, no, you don't want those mushrooms around at all! Freya is so beautiful it would be terrible if something happened. Your junk journal is gorgeous, I love the butterfly cover, and that the pages are all different sizes! Great job! Have a great week, Lindart #28

Thank you for your visit, Tracey, and for all your good wishes and prayers for my operation on Friday. I'm so glad you liked the little ring I was given - it was such a touching gift! I'm gad you enjoyed seeing the transformation of my studio, too. Still quite a bit of reorganising to do but at least it's usable now, and for the first time in months, it is a pleasure to go in there now. I can't wait to get better and start playing with Cindy's machine and all my other new toys!!

The mushrooms are probably Panaeolus foenisecii and NOT edible! So, yes get them up and out of the way. Freya is just beautiful. Again, your studio is so nice. Have a great evening.

Thanks for popping by to my workspace Tracey - You mention the tree die - I received it from Wish and it is way smaller then I though - but you are correct - the perfect size for tags. And yes better to be careful with those pop up mushrooms - a firnd lost her beloved dog to some last year - devastating! - Have a great week - Maurs xxx #21

ahh that must be nerve wracking if she goes for eating those mushrooms in the yard. We had to watch Izzy like a hawk over the stupid grapes the last couple of years I am so tempted to go cut them off the vines right now while they are small. ~Stacy #27
