WoywW #599

 Hello everyone,

Desk sharing day over @the stamping ground
thanks to Julia our host it's week #599 oh my!!

No online time for me last week as much as I love
ALL your company life rolls that way some weeks.

Realised this weekend that I'd not made any Christmas cards
there was a high chance that people may have been receiving
one similar to the card below if I didn't get a move on 😂

so here's yesterdays desk with the last of the batch.. hope i've not
missed the last postal dates for those international ones eekk!!

Look forward to seeing what's on your workdesks,
some online catch ups and a free weekend.. Yay!!

**Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate**
Enjoy your day..

Stay safe and creative everyone..
Hugs Tracey xx

Ah Tracey, it was ever thus huh. In order to get anything done, I have to stay off the computer. My iPad regularly tells me that my average screen time is over 8 hours a day....horrifying. Until I worked out that it includes my using Alexa to read me audiobooks to me! Phew. Loving the Christmas cards, lovely clean stamps and stamp blocks there too, it all makes for a very attractive desk view I can tell you! Quite like the rubbish card too, but I’m not sure I have the nerve!

The card made me laugh - I know a couple of people who would appreciate receiving that. Your Christmas cards are looking lovely, and your desk is beautifully organised - what a lovely place to sit and craft. I like the mug too!
Hope you have a great week,

Hi Tracey, your card did make me laugh! The real ones are fab, lovely design. You're ok for International posting yet- I had a look myself a few days ago, and most 'last dates' are the first week of December. You can get the actual dates on the Royal Mail website, not got them handy at the moment.Have a lovely week, Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz #10 X

LOL, that's a good idea! The ones you made in the end look lovely! Missed you in the past few weeks, glad you were able to make it this week - and hope to see you again next week! xx zsuzsa #29

Ha ha ha ha! Love that card and really should make that my card this year. But no, yours are much better so it'll have to be more effort from me...

Crap - I always forget about the postal dates, and the US mail has been totally messed with this year so I am guessing I'll be holding up the cards for each person in a Zoom. Of maybe I just make ONE really nice one and hold it up for every call...

LOL!

Happy WOYWW!

Hi Tracey, don't know where the time's gone today been looking after my workman making a path down to the new cabin. He works really hard but needs regular cups of coffee. Your cards look great and loving the mug design too. Wishing you a lovely creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x17x

What a lovely mug that is. Very Christmassy. As are your Christmas cards, I don't think anyone would know you had created them quicker than usual - not like mine that are still waiting to be done apart from the few that I did manage. Can see some will be very sparse when I finish.
Hugs, to you and yours

That looks a great idea for a card, Tracey - it would certainly be memorable, and I bet the recipient would keep it rather than the hundreds of commercial ones people receive haha! I love the organisation on your desk. Thanks for your visit and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the final needle book and also that photo of the kitties! They did enjoy that box of knitting yarns for a while and then quite suddenly went off it, as cats will! The furniture arrived safely and we are now enjoying it - very comfy. I can't wait to get throws made now, not just to protect it, but to make it pretty! I think that colour scheme I've chosen for the Persian Tiles one will be great.

Happy belated WOYWW,

I think you should use the "rubbish" card ha ha ha ha!!! It's the thought that counts!! :)

Thank you Tracey for giving me the biggest smile - that first card is just brilliant - I wish I had the nerve to actually send one like that..... well actually, maybe not - lol! Seriously though, your real ones are beautiful and I am sure they will be appreciated by all who receive them. Strangely, this year I have had loads of time to make cards but have not really enjoyed it, hopefully just the effects of lockdown.

I hope you are safe and well and find some crafty time my friend. All is well here, eye op went really well and we are staying hunkered down. Hugs, Anne xxx
