What's on your Wednesday Workdesk #596

 Hello everyone,

Wednesday desk sharing day @ the Stamping ground.

Missed last week due to two missions of mercy first to
release trapped washing mid cycle from Mom's machine
then click, collect and deliver a new kettle to MIL,
an essential essential more than ever right now.

Nothing more than mess & remnant's on this workspace..
Can't share any new makes until tomorrow 😊

so i'll say my thank you's to everyone for my Birthday wishes
and share this bundle of loveliness I received from Dear Dorthe.
Beautiful card and mini book displayed open, hard to show all
the details in these treasured gifts. Wrapped in a co-ordinating
napkin now saved for a future make. Thank you Dorthe xx

Had some fabulous gifts for my Birthday including
new pencils (I forgot to photograph) two online courses
and this bundle of happiness *Sigh*

Treated myself to replacement pencil sharpeners,

and finally I just had to have this charming felted mini scene
created by the very talented Maxine @ Tilly Tea Dance
Now on my craft room wall.. so calming..

Look forward to seeing what you've all been up to..

Take care & stay safe everyone
Creative Hugs

Tracey xx

LOL! I have about 3 pencil sharpeners and none of them work really well. I wonder if they are "american" or if my pencils are, but they never give the kind of point that I want, especially on my stabilo all pencils. Ah well. The felted scene is very sweet, such a talent. Looks lovely on your wall, and might make a nice gift for my MIL - just her kind of thing, so off to check out TTD! Thanks for the tip.

Happy WOYWW!

Hi there. Never seem to find a pencil sharpener I'm really happy with!
Love the Tilly Tea Dance piece.

I'm determined to do my rounds of my favourite blogs before I get under a pile of sewing this week...it just didn't happen last week.
There's nothing quite like a new pencil sharpener is there? It's so lovely to see one of Tilly's works of art on your desk today.

Love your presents, enjoy and have fun! I need a new pencil sharpener, too, mine are all old and cranky, like me! Have a wonderful day, stay well and safe!

Oh a good pencil sharpener is so hard to find and a real keeper when you do, lol!! Hope these new ones work well for you. What great presents you had, I do love having a course or voucher as a prepay these days, got enough ‘stuff’ to be getting on with. The card from Dorthe is exquisite, a real work of art!

PS, I did email you back, hope you got it, our computer/interwebs have been playing silly B’s recently.

Something very exciting happening on your desk - can't wait to see it next! What a lovely present from your friend with all those blue tones and an amazing array of Sizzix/Tim Holtz goodies! You'll have so much fun playing with those! I've been eyeing some of those sets myself! Delightful felted piece as well to add a spot of colour to your wall. We need to get our hands on anything that makes us happy these days! Enjoy your week, Tracey! xx zsuzsa #19

I just love your mug on your desk - howe fabulous is that! Also like the face but you know what I am like for faces, especially the ones you do. Well, glad you had a lovely birthday and what a gorgeous blue gift you got - that is something rather special and lovely to be given something that someone has spent time on - time is precious so I think handmade gifts mean so much.
Mind you the other gifts you got are rather super too - love the 3D folders and I should imagine the pencils are brilliant - what make are they? I have lots of pencil sharpeners, including an electric one but am not sure if they are supposed to be used or not on certain pencils. Lovely Tilly picture - they are so sweet aren't they.
Hope the birthday goes on and on
Love, Neet 5 xx

A belated Happy Birthday - you have some great goodies. It's mine soon and I now have a hankering for one of those needle felt pictures - I've wanted one for ages! Love the 'cute' sentiment and that gorgeous face on your desk, is it a notebook you've made? Have a good week, stay safe, stay well, Cindy xx #16

Now that's what I call a busy desk and I look forward to seeing your makes. Dorthe's gifts are so beautiful, I love the blue.

I see we have quite similar taste in Tim Holtz goodies, I think we are both going to have a lovely time leading up to Christmas! Fabulous treats! Maxine's picture is gorgeous, the colours are so restful and it must be so wonderfully tactile.

Do take care in the new lock down, I am hoping there will not be so much panic buying this time. Hugs, Anne xxx

I'm glad you had such a nice birthday, Tracey, and what lovely gifts. I've got a couple of bog standard metal pencil sharpeners and they seem to do the trick - nothing fancy! I'm having awful trouble with some of my cheap colouring pencils though - the leads are broken all the way through and I keep sharpening them and the lead keeps falling out. Grrr. You get what you pay for, I suppose!

Happy WOYWW,

Happy belated birthday Tracey. You got a nice little stash for your birthday! I can see lots of playing in your future with these new toys. Not that there wouldn't be fun time anyhow-even without new gifts. And I noticed that witches brew mug in your first photo. That is lots of fun! Hope all is well with you. Hugs-Erika

What a lot of lovely goodies!. I seem to have trouble with pencil leads being broken all the way through. My assortment of sharpeners is pretty randon - I often resort to a sharp knife!

Hi Tracey, happy belated birthday! I hope you had a lovely day, and that you have great fun playing with your new goodies, and on the online courses. The felted scene looks great. I'm determined to redecorate my craft room before the end of the year, and put happy things up on the walls! Thanks for stopping by earlier - I used to panic and bin a card when I made a mistake - now I just cover it up lol. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #8

Thank you for your visit, Tracey - I may do some more tiny carpets in the future but once #6 is completed and I have made up the final needle book, I really do need to move on to something else! There aren't enough hours in the day, are there! (No time for cuddling up and sleeping till the lockdown is over, I'm afraid!) I made another big pot of food today - a middle eastern dish which I shall be posting about in due course. I've tried 4 new recipes this week and they are all vying for the "Recipe of the Week" slot - I have had to reassure them that they will get their turn and not to be impatient lol! Oooh yes, our fur babies love a warm spot! Sometimes the kitties jump up so quickly to occupy a warm chair as soon as it's vacated, that we are in danger of sitting on them by mistake!

Have a great week.

Hi Tracey, a happy belated birthday, you had some lovely birthday presents . I bought a battery pencil sharpener which I am quite happy with. It wasn’t expensive so I do know how long it will last, but it helps my wrist. Have a great week Angels #20

Greedy blogger just gobbled up my comment. Out of four attempts to leave comments on blogs, 50% success is sad.. but try again.
Happy birthday indeed from Dorthe's beauties to crafty piiiiiile of yumminess!!
Well done, great result.
Will make it brief so no lose again.. hint pop up comment boxes are not unstable like these horrid embedded ones which blogger has as default.
Upgrade would be good.. see settings... comment.. and so on.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X

wow you have tons of interesting goodies on your work top. I love the mug. I've been away from crafting for ages, years in fact- so its nice to whizz round and say hello to everyone! Its taken me longer this week, as to me, Blogger has change (not for the better) so much, things that should take seconds now take days! Sorry I'm late! But I'm early for tomorrow!
