Woyww #593 with this, that and t'other

Hello creative friends,

First a page for *Art Journal Journey*
and Chris's theme *Hold The Line*

A spread inspired by the wonderful collage art of Pia Rom.
The word refuel peeping from the book page below brought a
vision of migrating birds keeping formation as they fly in
to join us for Winter, like little aeroplanes in the sky...

and now as it's Wednesday already... here's WoyWW #593
remnants of a long lockdown weekend in my crafty space..

I've been down with an ear and throat infection so just incase
it was something more sinister than a head cold and with a huge pot
of Lamb Stew prepared for the boys this is where I've been hiding,
catching up with the Lifebook Taster course..

So sorry to those @ the stamping ground and beyond that I've
missed visiting, this week will definitely be a better one..

Watercolour cards inspired by Galia Alena,
a beautiful artist with her soft spoken words.
Maybe you'll join her Art is Magic taster workshop ?

and finally I made use of my 4x4 artist tiles thanks to Effy Wild,
I never need asking twice when eyes are involved..

Look forward to a catch up and seeing what you've been up to..

Stay safe & creative
Tracey xx

Wonderful journal spread, thanks so much for joining us at AJJ, much appreciated. I, too, enjoyed Galie Alena's course, and making the little book with Effy. It's been a fun time at Lifebook! Get well soon, take care, hugs, Valerie

What a beautiful journal spread, the colours are wonderful and so autumnal. I love the cards too - just what I've been doing this week, masking off with washi and stencil tape and watercolouring!
Hope you soon feel better - earache is so awful, I do feel for you.

Well if I could do eyes so beautifully, I would do them all the time! So sorry to hear you’ve been poorly, ugh, Ive had a recurring ear infection but I think it’s finally dealt with. Can’t remember feeling so consistently rotten, very glad to see you’ve been gently acting whilst isolating. Feel 100% very soon please.

I've had a busy morning...been to the hospital for blood tests, back for a late breakfast and then had to shorten 3 the 3 nurses dresses and a pair of jeans before I could start my blog visits...so here I am a little late today.
Sorry to hear you've not been well. Lets hope you're much better very soon. I does look as though you've used your time well though....love the eyes.
Stay safe and well.
Hugs,
Annie x

Oh I love eyes, and this is a beautiful one. What a lovely idea to make it into a tag.
Gosh you certainly have given us some treats this week, lovely cards and a gorgeous journal spread. I do like the way you have placed the partial head in the bottom corner - certainly adds to the imagination and words that it makes one utter.
Hope you are feeling much better, look after yourself and stay safe and well.

Hi Tracey. It has taken me all morning to pick up my click and collect order, so I am really late (for me) starting to work down the list - sorry! Oh how beautiful your work is. The birthday card, Christmas card, the page, and that eye! Stunning!!
Trust the lamb stew has done its work, and you are beginning to feel better.
Take care. God bless.

I am so far behind in blogging. I am sorry to hear you have a cold. Your art is just exceptional. I love that eye. Drink lots of peppermint tea and put the tea bag in a white sock and tie it around your neck. No more sore throat. Sending healing energy.

I too have been playing with the Life Taster lessons. Amazing! I love both your projects. Gorgeous! Both of these lessons I haven’t got to yet. LOL. You have encouraged me. Dorlene #30

Sorry I'm late getting here, Tracey. I see you have really been doing the Taster series proud. I finally had a chance to see the Effy Wild entry and Happy Birthday one. Yours is SO different from the artist's. The first one, which you have so kindly linked to Art Journal Journey using Chris's theme, I've not yet seen. I'm a bit far behind and was SO glad they gave us an extra week to at least see all of them. Thanks for linking to AJJ and thanks for your incredible art you always make so enjoyable to view.

Hi Tracey, hope and pray your infection is nought worse and all keep well too. Love those two hand painted cards too, especially the birthday card it’s right up my alley, kind of looks like blue gum leaves. The eye is truly superb on your cube too. I’ve been to iridologist, she always raved over my eyes saying I had fairy eyes. To me they were deep blue green, nought more but then I’m seeing it from different place to how she was looking. Interesting though isn’t it?
Thanks for sharing, and God bless, Shaz in Oz.x #6

I'm glad to see you were just as enthusiastic about the Tasters as I was, Tracey! I just wish I had had more time to do more of the lessons, but each and every one of them inspired me in some way! Loving your take on Pia's lesson - that's definitely a technique I will revisit again! Your watercolour pictures are gorgeous and I LOVE your mini book as well! I think I have signed up for Galia's course, hope I will have time to participate - I've also signed up for Laly Mille's 6-day course starting on the 21st. That's one I definitely don't want to miss as I adore her style! So much inspiration out there - my head is spinning LOL! Thanks for your visit earlier - sorry I couldn't come back to you sooner. Wishing you a lovely creative weekend! xx zsuzsa #20

Thanks for your visit to my blog last week. In the Netherlands there were stricter rules announced in order to get the covid-number down but I am allowed to stay working at location - pfew! That's a release! Stay healthy and happy! Love from Holland. Marit #2
