A tag for Tuesday, TioT & Woyww phew...

How you all doing??

Here's a little bit of this & that on the last day of September.

Didn't get chance to share this over the weekend so here's

Stenciled relief paste on a book page background painted with
distress paint, oozing Autumnal colours.. I get to join in with

Update on the Garden now all neat and tidy with it's freshly laid lawn..
I can leave it be now & hope for lots of rain to help keep it alive 😏

So what's on my workdesk this Wednesday ??

There lies those cards from last week,
all given a sentiment and a matching gift tag or ATC..

Had lots of Happy Mail arrive yesterday, think Royal Mail have been
saving it up. This package was my favorite of all, made me extra happy.
New stamps from the lovely Tracy Easson, wrapped so sweetly,
like a Christmas gift you never want to open ...
Hope to share some playtime next week 😊

Well that's it from me this Wednesday
Look forward to seeing what's on your workdesks.

Stay Safe & Creative everyone

What's on my Wednesday Workdesk 590

Hello everyone,

Desk sharing day over @ the stamping ground

Here's WoywW 590 just some painted stamped leaves
and a handful of cards in need of the right sentiment.

Another busy week in the garden making headway for that new lawn,
I know what you're thinking but it really is just a mound of earth...😅

and this one's especially for Julia..

Our hostess was very taken last week by Hobby Poo 😂
Impossible to part with the old boy during the clear out..
Call it *Loco in lockdown* perched behind my garden bench
he's a quiet companion whist I enjoy my first cuppa of the day..

Care duty errands to run this morning but I look forward
to seeing what's on your work desk's upon return.

Stay safe & creative everyone

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #128 ~ Dimension

 Hello creative friends

however you depict the theme come share your dimensional
creations with the team HERE for a chance to win a prize.

*You DO NOT have to use Paperbabe stamps in your design but if
you do it doubles the prize pot for one randomly selected winner*

Here's what I got up to and how it came to be..

Using scraps of left over Paperbabe stencilled paper saved from
projects, paste test sheets or various mixed media, I layered
torn strips to a journal page to create a simple background.

A stamped and painted Dinky Female face and torso is given a layered
hair style using more of those stencilled scraps cutting out a mix of
styles using the Bunches Template set creating dimension to her hair.

Toning down the existing colour of her layered hair using gesso
she blends into the background resting peacefully on Dinky hands
Recycled lace, pearl embellishments and a fibreboard substrate
add extra texture and dimension completing my journal creation.

Look forward to seeing your

Take care & stay safe everyone..

What's on your Wednesday Workdesk 589

Hello everyone
how are you all doing??

Even though my little part of England is back in lockdown
normal service resumes @ the Stamping Ground for me at last...

Hurahhhh!!!

I know my desk looks disorderly but there's quite a lot of
creativity going on in this corner just can't share it yet.

In between the busyness of August every spare hour was spent dismantling,
recycling and responsibly disposing of the contents of the old playhouse.
A mighty task and one at first we wished we'd never started..

but one month later it's been transformed into a restful place

a shady space to sit and embellish my latest fabric lavender pebbles.

Just need to sort the lawn out now so little Freya can enjoy it too..

Look forward to seeing WoyWW 589
over @ Julia's Stamping Ground

Take care & Stay Safe

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #127 ~ Classic Blue Picture inspiration

Hello everyone

It's time for a new Paperbabe Stamps Challenge

This fortnight we give you a Picture for inspiration.
Use the Picture below as your prompt and let that
Pantone Classic Blue of 2020 inspire you.

Here's my Design Team creation and how it came to be.

Working with an unfinished journal page displaying a stamped
Dinky Female Face BLUE is one colour I could never be without
in my colour palette, I find it extremely calming.

Layers of blue lace add direction and simulate the flow of her hair.

Adding fibre paste through the Iso Fun Stencil. As Sapphire is
Septembers birthstone I picked out the ring in the prompt adding blue
glass beads and a dusting of Gold mica liberally amongst the blue.

A difficult shape to photograph I found it interesting that the Blue appears
much darker and her skin paler through the lens than they actually are...

so here's a close up of her beauty unleashed from the shadows
along side those brave words, completing my mixed media page.

There's a prize of up to £20 to spend in the Paperbabe Stamps Shop,
I do hope you can pop along HERE and join in with this months

Take care & Stay safe

Creative Artiste Design Team ~ Anything Mixed Media Goes

Hello creative Friends,

I'm so happy to reveal today that I have
joined the Creative Artiste Design Team.

A monthly challenge where
and a place to share a mixed media
creation along side the Creative Artiste Team.

Thank you Andree and the team for inviting me..

Here's a walk through my September project and how it came to be..

Autumn my favourite of Seasons the warmth of it's colours are so cosy.
Taking a postcard sized piece of mixed media card I painted a scene
stamping wildflower stems in the forefront adding to it's atmosphere.

Sanding down a deep edge frame leaves are stamped onto the exposed wood
and painted with the same colour palette. To add interest to the front of
the frame texture paste is pushed through a stencil and left to harden.

Painting the textured edge in complimentary bronze, dots of glitter
glue add the final touch of detail to the glass window protecting it.

Glistens like morning dew from every angle,

my mixed media frame is complete and now ready to display.

Pop on over HERE and see what the Creative Artiste DT
have created this month, we'd love to see your
Mixed Media creations over @ Creative Artiste's

Wishing you all a
happy, safe and creative day

Tracey xx
