What's on your workdesk? #570

Hello everyone,

HOW ARE YOU..??

Hiding away in the corner absorbed in the painting of walls
DON'T look at the carpet.. ooooohhh you did, didn't you..?

Carpet cleaner is as elusive as hand wash
I think a new carpet is a reward in waiting..

Found these forgotten's whilst moving some furniture,
hand carved, stamped & coloured images designed by the
clever hands of Donna Gray, she kindly sent them to me
when we were on the same Design Team a few years ago.

Not used the stamp set for a couple of years, obviously all
lost together, the pack of pre-stamped images could come in
handy for an 11th Anniversary that's coming up soon..! 😊

So here's what you've all came to see..
here's what's on my workdesk this Wednesday..

Journal & washi play with those Studiolight Stamps from last week.
I have made some cards but can't share them just yet as those receiving
peep at my blog. The large Butterfly I found in the journal a left over
stamp & colour I previously shared.. Think i'll make a quick card
with it today before it flies into hiding again.

Hoping to be a bit more active online this week,
I did make it round to see all woyww(ers) but missed
many visits to my non woyww(ers) blog buddies 😘

Catch up time is calling...
Stay safe & creative precious people
Hugs Tracey xx

your desk doesn't look to have any room for crafting! Isn't that always the way... Well done on finding your lost goodies! Did you even know they were lost?!! (I wouldn't!) Take care, stay safe. Helen #1

Your desk looks good to me, at least, mine looks much worse. I have carpet cleaner, but no carpet anymore. Life is sometimes strange, huh? Freya is just gorgeous! Have a great day, look after yourself. Hugs, Valerie

Morning Tracey. Love Valerie's comment about having the cleaner... but not the carpet. After all your hard work on the painting, I'm with you! A new carpet... possibly easier to find than the carpet cleaner! Well done on finding the missing items. Looking forward to the anniversary to see what you get yup to.
Take care of yourself. Stay safe. God bless.

Your right Helen, desk sharing with my Daughter doesn't give me much space to play & no those found things are a needle in a haystack of many things in hiding without me even knowing x

That's a nice haul from Doone there - plenty to keep you occupied on Crop Day or the days leading up to it. Looking forward to seeing it progress into something lovely.
I like your butterfly. Was staring at it and thinking how you could adapt one you already had with some fussy cut flowers, hmm might just have to play later. What intrigues me is the octagonal storage behind, looks so much nicer than my rectangular stuff - but I am afraid mine will have to stay - too much of a job to change it now. Do like yours though.
Have a good and safe week
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

Happy WOYWW. What an amazing find - both the stamps and the pre-stamped images. Love all of those images. I always enjoy looking at your desk, so much to admire and drool over. I think I had those Grunge stamps. Need to check in my very small stamp basket (after having massive craft room clear outs, there isn't much left in there). Ali x #13

The butterfly was one of those create & craft freebie's you just past P&P for maybe from February, it's been used in many different ways. The octagonal storage is actually wine racks Neet given much more love now full of pens rather than wine :D

You can use those rediscovered stamps etc for Julia's UFO challenge for the WOYWW anniversary!! I haven't a clue what I'm going to do yet.... I had to laugh about the carpet, it looks ok to me - did you sit Freya on the bad spot to cover it up?? Lol

Hi Tracey, I'd definitely be pricing up a new carpet, as a treat for when lockdown ends! It's always nice finding things that are lost, even if you have forgotten about them. The butterfly is gorgeous, that will make a lovely card. Lots of interesting stuff on your desk. Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #20

Hi Tracey, thanks for the lovely card much appreciated. I would be happy to trim Freya the only problem would be that she might end up looking like Schnauzer! I can see you're making good use of those new stamps too. Take care and have a happy woyww, Angela x21x

I tried to leave a comment earlier, Tracey, and like last week, it didn't work - for some reason, there are a couple of blogs that my iPad doesn't like, so here I am trying again on the laptop this time! Freya looks as if she's saying "What, me? Honest, I never..." Hope you manage to get either a new carpet or some carpet cleaner in due course! Your butterfly is beautiful, and I do love your hexagonal storage!

Thank you for visiting, and I do hope you manage to start a herb garden. The recent rain has really brought ours on, and my hubby has been feeding them, too. Yes, I was on a roll with the repeated designs for colouring - I shall continue to mat and layer them when I get the chance to go in the studio, and I may stick some in an album. You got a real bargain with that lovely stamp set last week - well done! They were very unusual and different and I'm sure you will get a lot of use out of them.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Tracey, ooh sounds like a good reason to get new carpet to me.. ( the only place we have it is upstairs in the hobby room the rest of the house is hardwoods and tile) so, I feel your pain on the cleaning it. Love that butterfly, its going to be an gorgeous card and what a fun find too. ~Stacy #27

Same for us with the carpet, many years of children and pets you learn it's best to avoid in most rooms :D

Good Morning Tracey, thanks for your visit. I love your sweet adorable dog. I am an animal lover. He could keep me company in easy fashion. I think our carpet will undergo professional cleaning late June. Hopefully my sons and family can come for my mom's postponed funeral 22nd and after they all leave would be a great time for through house cleaning. We've had some new things open up here and allowed but nothing with church services yet. Keeping my fingers crossed, it's been hard not having that finalized yet.
Also love your Artist Plate stamps and that background in the spiral book is awesome and the butterfly is really unique. Thanks for sharing. A fun visit. Stay safe, hoping you have sunshine and warm weather. Still a prayer here. could freeze Fri/Sat.

I promise, I didn't look at the carpet at all, I could not take my eyes off the adorable face of Freya! They grey and white colour scheme is beautiful, so fresh looking.

Donna's stamps are amazing, I was lucky enough to meet Donna when I visited That's Crafty HQ a couple of years ago, she is a lovely soul.

The butterfly on your desk is stunning, I really do hope you get to use it, it would be a shame to put it away again. Have a good weekend and stay safe and well. Hugs, Anne xx

Hi Tracey
I'm so late this week catching up, this beautiful weather distracted me. You have some lovely things on your desk and how great to find forgotten stash. It's like discovering treasure isn't it.
I'm glad you've finished your painting, couldn't spot anything on the carpet apart from your lovely dog.
Thanks for popping mine earlier

Sorry for my (very) late visit, time seems to speed even in lockdown. I love that stampset, those images are right up my alley - I've been thinking about an UFO too (thought I had none but doing my woyww-round, I saw two projects already that pointed out to my own UFO's, turns out I DO have some, ha!) Have a nice week dear one, stay safe! Love from Holland. Marit #25
