What's on your workdesk? 573

Hello creative friends,

How are you..??

I've nothing really to share this workdesk Wednesday
as sewing has taken up much of my time, making birthday
gifts and other things.. believe me you really do not
want to see the chaos on my kitchen table today..

So here's where I was yesterday evening taking note
of idea's for some lovely stamp sets I received last week.
The #justforwednesdays journal shows last weeks play using
Tracy Evans stunning Iris, it's an addictive set may I say..

I can share a couple of tags i'd saved from some wrapping
that I covered with gesso then stamped interesting areas
from a couple of woodware stamps.  Embossed and trimmed with
left over scraps of lace they may well become new gift tags to
go with those sewing gifts or just #things in a junk journal.

Look forward to seeing Whats on your
workdesks this Wednesday.

Take care everyone, stay safe & creative
Tracey xx

UPDATE..
**Has anyone heard how Helen is..??
She posted last night but I'm worried she has still yet to link **

Wow, those tags are stunning - clever you. I think they'd be the perfect thing to accompany your sewn gifts (being nosy, I do hope you share them with us at some point!!) I think Helen has posted just behind you but I wondered where she was too! Off to visit her next.

Such pretty tags, I never think of adding lace and things - I must bear this in mind next time. Of course I fell in love with the bee, I am bee obsessed at the moment.
Just got Tracy's Iris stamp yesterday - can't wait to start using it but there is so much I want to do and so little time to do it without the aches and pains.
Good to hear you have been keeping busy - and with sewing - look forward to seeing the delights when the recipients have got them.
Hope hubby and your fur baby are both fine.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx

Hi Tracey. great looking iris - well done you. Had to chuckle at the idea of us not wanting to see you kitchen... I got so involved with something the other day I suddenly realized I didn't even have a 6inch square to work in! That was when it meant a good tidy!!! I get to the point when I can't work anymore - but you will see it is almost as bad again already..
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

HI Tracey! What lovely idea! Why haven't I thougth to cover tags with gesso? See, THIS is precisely why we visit one another LOL. No desk for me this week. Dealing with personal security issue. I've been on hold with Unemployment for over an hour this morning.. still waiting. LOL At least it's making me sit and visit. Creative Blessings! Kelly

Such delightful tags Tracey and it seems to be a week for the Iris - I've been seeing them pop up here and there and they truly are one of my favourite flowers. Your stamp looks beautiful and I hope you find lots of time to try out your new stash.

Oooh Tracey, I hope you will show us your sewing once it is all finished.

I love, love, love how you coloured Tracy's Iris, it is such a beautiful stamp and one I think that will stand the test of time and I am sure you will enjoy using all of those other stamps too.

The weather is so lovely at the moment, I really do hope you are finding a little time to enjoy it. Also, I hope Helen is OK! Stay safe my friend. Hugs, Anne xxx

Doesn’t look like nothing to share from here! ANd you’ve really struck a chord in my head too - stamping some ‘interesting bits’ from various stamps...i really need to get back amongst my stamps and have a proper few weeks of stamping...I’ve been sucker Ed out of it by cards made with scraps and die cuts. Thank you for inspiring me AGAIN! I’m going in!!

Dearest Tracey, thank you for your visit to my blog - sweet lady .
I am all in love with your tags, and the beautiful stamps you have used - could I ask you which one is the weed on the bee-tag ? Here we call that weed, Wild Carrot, lol- I would love that stamp , could it be one of Tracey`s too ? The other tag so lovely too-
Your desk looks wonderful and not at all like mine, which is really a mess-but I guess I have not seen your kitchen table :-)
I am happy you are doing well all, Tracey- keep on staying safe dear friend. I send you warm big hugs and wishes for a wonderful weekend . I hope the sun is shining a little for you, as it does here . HUGS Dorthe xxxxx

Lovely to have some outdoor work space (though it's been a bit breezy for that kind of thing here lately... all my paper and tags would be flying away!). Lots of great things on the go, by the look of it. I love those tiny tags.
