Anything Goes ~ Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #106

Hello everyone,

It's anything goes over on the Paperbabe Stamps blog this
fortnight so why not share your creativity with us HERE
for a chance to win a Paperbabe stamps prize...

Here's my Paperbabe Stamps #106 creation...

Stamping out the Profile Right Dinky and tracing around the Volumptuous Waves hair template I've used gesso to blank out her ear creating an even flow of her hair.

Losing myself in a moment of colouring I protected the finished image with the Volumptuous waves hair template then placing a mylar stencil (created using the Tim Holtz Birch Die) over the top I blended distress ink through it.

The hair template acts as a mask protecting the image perfectly, bringing both pencilled figure and stencilled background together seamlessly.

A plain aperture found within an unused picture frame is dipped in puddles of Distress Oxides. Just look how those beads of colour leave their mark.

A selection of Autumnal inspired D'oxs colours are used to stamp the leaves from the Completely Conkers set onto those transferred oxide puddles.

Positioning over the image the aperture creates a window around the design.

Back in it's original frame dabbed with gold and copper paint
my Window to Autumn is complete.

Pop along and see what the Design Team have created this fortnight.
I look forward to seeing your *Anything Goes* creations.

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend.
Take care & stay safe everyone.

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Oh Tracey this is beautiful! I always wonder how to make a small image fill a large space, and you've just given me all the answers. The dipping and stamping really ties it all together perfectly. Have a very happy week, Sue xx

Tracey this is fabulous. You've created the girl and her flowing locks so beautifully with real movement and depth to her hair, and to frame her with the birch background and a subtle scattering of leaves either side is such a great finishing touch.
