What's on your Workdesk Wednesday 523

Hello everyone,

It's Wednesday the day Julia invites us to share
What's on our Workdesk over at the stamping ground...

Sorry i've not been around over the past couple of weeks
but I've been on my holibobs. I hope all that attended the
WoywW 10th Anniversary meet up all had a fab time??
I was thinking of you all although almost 2.000 miles away.
I'm sure there are plenty of photo's out there that share the day.

Here's little *Arty* who carefully transports my go to equipment
admiring a view that's seen many changes over the last 15 years.

and here's *Arty* last week sharing the limelight with a bottle of sun cream.
Have to confess not much creative activity took place as i'd hoped
but there was plenty of chatter, banter and probably way too much
thinking time for me but the air was clean and the sky ever bright...!!

So now i'm back home, greeted by torrential rain and poor light
wondering why my next door neighbour has wall to wall scaffold
and a new roof? A little worrying as I live in a terrace!!

This weeks WoywW 523 is all set up ready to finish some DT work.
For those that like face stamps you may like to pop on over HERE?

I'm feeling like a newbie today and a bit out of practice, so i'm
sneaking in early today as Julia's door is open...

Look forward to seeing what you've all been up to
it's been way to long.

Sending Creative Hugs your way
Tracey xx

Sounds like you had a fabulous holiday, even if you didn't get much crafting accomplished. Maybe that's why they call it holiday! Glad you are now back home and working hard on DT projects. I missed you. Happy WOYWW from # 8.

Hi Tracey! I love your funky case - close up in the first photo, it looks like a suitcase! Wouldn't it make a great suitcase indeed! Hope you enjoyed your holiday and your roof is holding up ok. Have fun with your DT work and show us next time! zsuzsa #20

Firstly, I'm really glad that you had such a great holiday - after the stress you've had this year, it must have been a good relaxing break. It's always hard coming back after a really good holiday - hope the scaffolding etc hasn't affected your place. Thanks for the great comment - I'm glad you enjoyed all the pics, there's probably too many but it's important for the folks who couldn't get there to feel like they joined in too. Hope to see you at the next one!

What a beautiful view and I love your colourful crafty case 😁. I hope you had a wonderful time! I never think to take crafting goodies with me when I go away but I always come back with so much inspiration as I collect mementos for my art journal pages while I'm there ...lol 😉. Wishing you a wonderful week! Creative hugs and wishes! Jo x

I'm so glad you had a good time. Sorry your weather is terrible. Here in the Southern United States, it's been quite wet as well. We just have learned to bear it!

Nasty weather to come home to and definitely NOT the weather for a new roof!!! Looks like you're in for an interesting time.
Did you receive an anniversary swap ATC from me? If not I can get one in the post to you, I never kept a check this year on who I posted out to I'm afraid.
Have a good week

I could not believe how cold it was yesterday when I went to the doctors. Its been miserable looking out on the weather but venturing out made me realise just how bad it is - it was like a day in March.
So glad you got away, you have not had a good year up to now so hopefully this has worked its magic on you both and rejuvenated you. Like the little carry case you take - I take some colouring, Caran D'Ache crayons and a waterbrush and I am happy sitting on the balcony doing my bit. Sadly I doubt we will get away this year with my health but hey ho, we have lots of happy memories from the past to look back on - and you never know what is around the corner.

Dear Tracey, so glad you have had a wonderful vacation, away from rain and cold, with that gorgeous view and lots of time to just think and relax.
And good you are safe home again, my friend.
Today the sun shines here, and not the same amount of rain, for us, but it has also been cold days in between.
Take time to adjusting being home again, my friend. Big hugs to you , Dorthe xoxo

Sounds like you had a fun holiday! I was almost expecting a bottle of something delicious instead of sunscrenn on your desk. Hope the rain lets up and that you have no problems with roofs!
Thanks for popping by and have a great week!

So pleased you got a way for a break Tracey, I am sure it was good for all of you to have some 'down time' and to just relax. I love 'Arty', he is gorgeous! I am really looking forward to seeing what designs you have come up with - having all that quality thinking time!

It is really lovely to have you back, let's hope this cold, wet weather bucks up in the next few days - fingers crossed. Hugs, Anne xxx

Hi Tracey, you're early and I'm late. Gym, dog walking, washing, trying to dry stuff despite the rain and no crafting....boring but it has to be done however it's very peaceful here as hubby is away somewhere near Grimsby visiting schools to moderate Art exam work so it's me and the dogs for a few days. Popped over, loving the new stamps. Have a lovely week and a fun woyww, Angela x13x

Hi Tracey, glad to hear you had a nice relaxing holiday. You certainly need it after all you've been through lately. Sad you had to come back to the grotty weather though! Love 'Arty'- lovely bright colours. I am looking for some nice clear face stamps to practice the skin colouring with Promarkers, so will check out the link later. It would be great to meet you at a Crop one day, it was great fun meeting deskers for the first time, and some for the second time! Have a lovely week Heather xx #12

Hi there Tracey,
I had missed you y’know!! Hollibobs... what a really enjoyable and satisfactory word that is, totally like it. As dont work anymore don’t really have hollibobs! Leastwise not often.
Love your arty bag, it also has a smug satisfying look to it as well, great colours. I’m ok kind of impatiently healing I guess you could say. Time.. is what it takes and patience.
Happy belated WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #22
