WOYWW #483

As Wednesday gently rolls in again its time to share
WOYWW thanks to Julia over at the stamping ground.

Those that visited last week will remember i'm in a
pickle this week due to a much needed kitchen face lift.

This was me catching a moment on Monday evening making sure
I knew exactly where the things I needed to work with were, so I could
escape into the garden with the dog when the work was due to start on Tuesday.

The weather man promised us sunshine on Tuesday...

Tuesday Morning arrived along with torrential rain..
No creative play time in the garden for me!!
With everything ready and waiting to be ripped out.
i'll be sad to see that puppy chewed corner unit go..

After a whole lot of noise in which the dog and myself endured
for most of the day due to the rain.. Thanks Mr Weather Man.
Those ghastly units have gone... awaiting new units today Yay!!!

Hope to have something much more creative to share with you next week.
I have a pile of unopened parcels waiting to be opened but i'm saving them
until the weekend, i'll surely lose what ever is inside them if I open them now.

Off to set up in the garden now the light is coming up
and then get the kettle on and wait for the chippy to arrive.
Look forward to visiting everyone this week as 'i'm sure
I missed a handful of you out last week sadly.

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Goodness. I'd give anything for those awesome white tiles. I'm sure you have bigger plans, though. What is that white thing on the wall in the corner? Hope you can craft in the garden today. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

Gosh Tracey, you do have some will power. I couldn't eave parcels unopened for love nor money. Can at Christmas but not during the year.
I remember being in your exact position two years ago when we had our kitchen replaced but I will tell you, it was the best thing we had done. We will be having our bedroom remodelled shortly, not looking forward to that as we have so much stuff in those wardrobes!
Sorry abut the rain - hope you have some 'dry time' now on.
Hugs, Neet (ps are you escaping to the crop?) 8 xx

Morning Tracey. What a contrast for you! Trust the new units go in well, and you can begin to play again - and open all those exciting parcels you are saving!
Take care. God bless.

It's always so noisy and disruptive having workmen in but it's so worth the hassle when it's all done - I'm looking forward to seeing the 'after' photos! Hope you have a good week and get a little crafting done in some quiet corner!

Oh, what a shame about the rain, we had it too but not so heavy. I am really looking forward to seeing what your new kitchen looks like. I too, hope you get a little time to do some crafting. I think we are having rain for the next three days - but we do need it I guess! Hugs, Anne xx

I love your tool box! Wow, they didn't waste any time ripping out that kitchen! It's a shame the rain ruined your outdoor plans, but perhaps you have better weather today. We only had very light rain here and we need more! Strange, I'm in the West Midlands too - your downpour must have been very localised! Hope the doggy is now more mature and will not chew the new kitchen units. Oreo clawed our old armchair apart but he doesn't do it any more - well, we don't let him! He would probably still have a go if we did! Have fun this week - hope the builders finish quickly and you get your kitchen back. Looking on the bright side, at least you don't have to cook for a few days! zsuzsa #21

Wow, how exciting to be having a new kitchen installed! We had ours done a few years back and went back to the brickwork; they found 4 layers of tiles from all different eras and the room was bigger as a result ...lol 😁. Have fun with your mobile craft room too - perfect! Creative wishes! J 😊 x

Hello my dear Tracey , wonderful to see it gone, and that all the fun about a new kitchen starts here. I`m sure you are excited to see how they get along, every day :-)
Here we still have a sunny lovely weather, but the weekend will come with much rain and only 16C --- so that will be inside for me, surely.
Coming Monday is my last post for Laura, and I both feel sad, and happy in one .
Tracey , I know I am late with a note to you, it will be there in a few days. Hugs and hugs to you xxxxxx

Hi Tracey, not opening parcels?? Wow ... I don't think I could do that! Great use of the tool box - I have a similar one somewhere, but it's full of tools! I'm looking forward to seeing the new kitchen. Exciting! They certainly ripped the old one out quickly! Have a lovely week Heather x #12

New kitchens are fantastic when they are finished but chaos in the interim. We ripped ours out at Christmas 2016 as it was the only time my Husband was free to do it. dinner was an adventure and we learned to do all sorts of cooking on a toastie machine! I did have a lovely kitchen for last Christmas so it was all worth it. I could not wait to open my post you have great discipline! x#35

How exciting getting a brand new kitchen, it is amazing how all the house is upside down when you're doing one room!!!. Funny when you said waiting for the chippy to come... thought at first that you meant cos you haven't got a kitchen yet that you were having something from the fish n chip shop..πŸ˜‚. Hope we get a view of the new kitchen when it's done.xxxx

This looks familiar! I remember having our kitchen redone in the old house on a rainy day, fortunately we had a car port, although it wasn't directly to the back door!! I hope by now (with my late visit ) that all is calm!!! Hugs, Chrisxx ps off for a little catch up - getting ready for a trip next week!

Wow creating during kitchen demo for me would be impossible 2 Great Danes that bark at the tools, plus my new room is conveniently right off the kitchen! Funny we are in the middle of a mini kitchen rehab, new floors, new appliances (long overdue!). I'd love to rehab the cabinets but haven't convinced the dh of that. Thanks for the visit! Angie #28

Wow... I remember it well, the kitchen being ripped out! It will be so great when it's done and I hope you show us lots of photos. I know the feeling when a precious little memory of pet babyhood is gone! Hope you took a photo of the chewed unit. Thank you for your visit and I'm sorry to be so long replying - felt rotten all weekend and only feel better again today!

Happy very belated WOYWW,
