Mixed Media April Challenge ~ Creative Artiste #92

Hello creative friends

Time again to welcome you ALL to
our theme is ALWAYS *Anything Mixed Media Goes

My April project is a mix of left over paint and paste scrapings,
stamps and doodles, recycled packaging, fibers and plant waste.

The glitter paste mosaic circle holds a rainbow of watercolour as
washes of colour seep into the unprimed areas of my journal page.
Acrylic leaves and flowers painted on cereal box waste are fussy
cut all given a doodled edge then glued down to frame the pages.

Finished with a stamped and coloured funky fossil bunny
peeping out from the long grasses created using leftover die cuts,
fibres and cuttings from salvaged and pressed house plant leaves.

If you love mixing your media why not share your own creations

Whatever you are all up to this weekend
I wish you all a Happy HAPPY Easter
Stay Safe and Keep Creative

Hugs Tracey xx

Hi Tracey! I absolutely love the art journal spread you created - it is gorgeous and colorful. The background mosaic circle looks so amazing with all of your spring details. You recycled everything beautifully - I especially love that your flowers are painted on an old cereal box! It's great to see you back, too. Take care and enjoy spring. Hugs, Sharon

You have created the perfect spread, Tracey. Not only is it clever, colorful, and timely, it is recycling at its finest. I love how you used an old cereal box to create the flowers and some leaves. I also love that you used pressed leaves as part of your spread. Nice you were able to use a few leftover die cuts, too. However that amazing bunny peeking above the grasses was a star! This is a fabulous entry using Bleubeard's and my theme at Art Journal Journey. We love it!!

Happy Easter, dear Tracey.
