People are Strange...

Hello everyone,

Another quick post from me my crafty space is so
messy creative time would be wasted cleaning it up so
I've made use of old sketched faces found in a journal,

Painted slightly caricature to resemble two main characters
from the cast of The Lost Boys, one of my favourite Movies.

I look back with nostalgia 35 years after it's release..
A cult vampire movie, scare jumps, funny one liner's.
Oozing the 80's with a fab cover in it's soundtrack of
The Door's *People are Strange* by Echo & the Bunnymen.

Brings back fond memories of cinema nights with college
friends every time I watch it.. Happy happy days..

Creative Easter wishes
Tracey xx

This might have been a quickie with old sketched faces, but it is a great page Tracey. And I love that quote you added. Now I can hear that song...so I love how you combined a great song quote with a great movie page. Yes, I remember this film. Thanks for sharing it with us at AJJ for Alison's challenge, and hope your week is going well. Hugs-Erika

I remember watching this film on TV. I loved it and silently fell in love with Cory Haim. What a great way to share this. It reminds me of the theatrical poster. Thanks for bringing back these fun memories and sharing them at Art Journal Journey and Alison's theme, dear Tracey.

So Rain's prompt teleported you back to a fun time in your life ... how awesome, though I have to say, I have never been fond of vampire type movies, I can feel the joy you had in that time of your life.

Wow, your Lost Boys are fabulous. What a talent painting this. I love your portraits which I normally see as beautiful ladies - this is the complete opposite and is just fantastic.
Hugs, Neet xx

Aaah Kiefer! ☺☺☺ I love your memory Tracey! I smiled when you mentioned Echo and the Bunnymen, I suspect we both had the same taste in 80's music! ☺
