Creative Artiste ~ April Mixed Media Challenge #81

Hello Creative Friends

our theme is always *Anything Mixed Media Goes*

Today my Design Team project is different from past makes,
created earlier this year for a very dear friend going through a
really tough time right now. This piece I never intended to share
hence just one photograph... but today with permission I do.

*I walk with you*

On a tiered photo frame mount I painted a Spring woodland scene in
watercolour, acrylics and inks, dotting Bluebells in gouache along
the waters edge as golden sunshine peeps through it's cloudy sky.

The boot a hand drawn mini version from an art journal piece created
last year is painted and detailed with coloured pencils, cut out and
simply suspended in the corner of a painted wax gilded frame.
.........

I hope you will join our Creative Artiste March #81 Challenge
and share your *Anything Mixed Media Goes* creations HERE.

Creative hugs and the
warmest of wishes to you all
Tracey xx

My dear and lovely friend, I cannot express with enough words how much this gorgeous framed boot means to me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It looks beautiful here but it looks even more gorgeous in real life and it has a place of honour in our house. You are the kindest friend anyone could have and I am truly grateful for your friendship. Love xxx

I thought I recognised the boot image Tracey, as I thought it was one of the most unique and amazing 'boots' I had ever seen.....And.....I still do with this fabulous mini version x.

You've got me ready for a springtime walk in nature with this page Tracey. I am loving the boot and the beautiful background. I like how you painted over the mattes and give this piece so much dimension. It's a great piece. Sorry it took me so long to come over as it was a busy weekend, and then I got my covid booster #2 and the side effects were worse than any of the other shots I got. Hope the new month is treating you well. hugs-Erika
