AJJ ~ The meaning of .. creative confidence

 Hello creative friends

don't be startled it's only me with my brave face on..

I really didn't intend sharing this today, the image came months
before it's title. Never afraid to play and experiment with art
prepared to make mistakes and be able to adapt along the way,
I understand fully that it's how we artists learn and grow...

BUT when it comes to self portraiture it's so much
easier for me to share any face but my own..

Unfinished ready and waiting to be redesigned into a much
bigger art journal vision here I am with the greatest things I've
ever created my three children as silhouettes in the background.

*I'll run and hide now 😊*

Brave creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Oh Tracey. I love your self portrait and your three children in the background. You have created the perfect portrait and I love the mask you have made for yourself. It is great. Thanks for this inspiring entry using your theme at Art Journal Journey, too.

Wow- this is totally amazing!!!! I love the idea of self portrait - I may have to try it (50,000 times until I would show it of course). My kids are my greatest thing I ever made too - such a lovely thought! Love this!!!! You are so talented and you amaze me all the time. Hugz

It's a lovely self portrait, something hard to do (I didn't take part!) interesting that you have your children included as, of course, they are part of who you are, I love it - in fact I think of all the contributions this week if there was a prize for the one I like most it would be yours :)

Tracey, in my humble opinion you have nothing at all to worry about, your self portrait is stunning and having your three children in the background is such a lovely touch. Your attention to detail is always so impressive and you already know how much I love your work, what more can I say - you are amazing!

Big hugs, Anne xxx

I have a hard time selling myself. Not that I don't like my art, but it is so easy to think what I do isn't as good as most others. Why is this so hard for so many of us? I love your page, and I notice so many cool details like the tones of your hair. And I love how you drew your children too. Nice mask. This is fabulous Tracey and a great post for AJJ. Hope it was a great Thursday and you have a nice FRiday too. Hugs-Erika
